Willie moved like a cat and hit like a gorilla.

One night at Marty and Lenny's there were these three guys who were halfway around the Lucchese crew from Gramatan Avenue in Mount Vernon. They worked the fucking door at Sue's, so they naturally thought they were wiseguys, Now these guys were COMPLETELY out of fucking line. If it ever got to the table they didn't have a prayer. Plus, my old man and the guy in charge there (the guy who wore the funny hats and went by his initials) were VERY close.

Anyway, Willie BEGS me to just walk up to the biggest one and punch him in the mouth, and he'll take care of the rest. Now, this is almost thirty years ago. But even then, I'm like, forget about it. they're just drunks. I turn around to buy a drink, and by the time I got my change all three of them were fast asleep. I didn't even hear a sound. It was like a drone attack . But to be fair, Marty and Lenny's was a pretty loud joint .

And it's funny you mention football, Bruno. That's how Craig and Willie met. Willie went to Lincoln and Craig went to Roosevelt. They met while playing against each other. Plus, Craig played for the Blue Devils up in Eastchester and Willie had some friends there. Willie was around Vinny Artuso when he was still in high school. But Greg was able to use the relationship between his son and Willie to pry Willie away from Vinny.
I didn't realize that Willie and Craig went that far back. When I talk about him doing "crowd control" this was late 80's-early 90's in the Corner's bar league on Sunday mornings. We had more maniacs show up at those games "just in case" than guys actually playing on the field.

Well fuck him then. Obviously.

How the fuck was this not in the interview?! A SOMEWHAT relative detail.

Can't trust a fucking thing on TV anymore.

RIP Journalism.

Truer words were never spoken Cheech.

It makes plenty of sense, and it happens all the time. You can't mistreat people who bring you bags of money with smiles on their faces week in and week out.

Soliai wrote:EB help me out, you say Greg, Tore, and Junior, you mean Greg Depalma, Tore Loc, and Junior Gotti right?
Yes.
Soliai wrote:Why were they at each others throats?
Greg wanted Craig close to Junior so he could grab Tore's piece of Scores. It got very ugly there for a while.
Soliai wrote:How was Jr abusing willie?
Verbally, including treating him like a dog in front of the hacks (and it MUST be noted that Willie was an ex-prison guard at that very same prison).
Soliai wrote:and why was willie defenseless?
What could he do? Junior was the acting boss, Willie was an associate.
Soliai wrote:And willie Marshall flipped right?
Yeah. I don't condone that he flipped, but I understand why he did it. The Feds found close to half a million in his basement. It was half Greg's. But as soon as they got pinched, Greg distanced himself from Willie at Valhalla and spread a story that it was junk money and that Willie was dealing. Greg was a fucking snake. Again, I don't condone that Willie flipped. But I understand why he did it. Willie started out with Vinny Artuso. He should never have left him. He'd be a millionaire in Florida today.
Soliai wrote:One last thing if all things are equal who wins between willie and Sammy P?
Sorry, Soliai. But that sounds like a GangsterBB question .

Blutrich almost got himself killed years before any of that even happened. He decided he wanted a catering hall in New Rochelle. He thought he had the pull to "make" Vinny DiNapoli sell him the property on Shore Road. They should have trunked the cocksucker then.

I've posted this before, but Pfeffer and Blutrich were in the right place at the right time to get those deals. Greg had Tore and Junior at each other's throats with his divide and conquer bullshit. Plus, not to defend a rat, but Greg tried to make Willie the fall guy for the money in his basement. Like it wasn't half Greg's. He let Junior abuse Willie while they were housed in Valhalla (and I have to say, everything being equal, Willie Marshall tears Junior's head from his body in less than thirty seconds), but Willie was defenseless in that situation. And while this soap opera was going on, the Feds were able to bring the whole house down on them.

I don't give a fuck about that piece of garbage. Just pointing out the hicks sound like hicks when they talk like that. They have a complex. He stole 400million of older people who should be respected and looked at for their wisdom not swindled and bamboozled. I think that's worse than whatever got some to him by the Sea horse. Plus the little girl stuff I don't really know about.
Basically. Fuckem. I don't give a shit about himm

And like I said, one on one, Willie was a fucking beast. He would've taken Junior's head clean the fuck off. But what could he do? His own skipper sold him out. Because you know as well as I do that even though Willie was technically with Craig, he was for all intents and purposes with Greg "direct."
