I've posted this before, but Pfeffer and Blutrich were in the right place at the right time to get those deals. Greg had Tore and Junior at each other's throats with his divide and conquer bullshit. Plus, not to defend a rat, but Greg tried to make Willie the fall guy for the money in his basement. Like it wasn't half Greg's. He let Junior abuse Willie while they were housed in Valhalla (and I have to say, everything being equal, Willie Marshall tears Junior's head from his body in less than thirty seconds), but Willie was defenseless in that situation. And while this soap opera was going on, the Feds were able to bring the whole house down on them.

And it's funny you mention football, Bruno. That's how Craig and Willie met. Willie went to Lincoln and Craig went to Roosevelt. They met while playing against each other. Plus, Craig played for the Blue Devils up in Eastchester and Willie had some friends there. Willie was around Vinny Artuso when he was still in high school. But Greg was able to use the relationship between his son and Willie to pry Willie away from Vinny.
