Rocco Lombardo was listed at #9, and described as being "stationed" there on behalf of his deceased brother.

I'm familiar with the crazy horse strip club deal from around 2007, but is there anything at all that points to him being active in the outfit in any way in the last decade?
Last I heard Rocco was retired and not living in Vegas. He was living in Arizona. I guess Arizona is still considered West Coast but he lists him as LV.

I also saw his article on top non Italian associates in the mafia and he listed Porky on there when he’s been dead for 2 years

Wait, you were told Bobby Ruscitti was posting *here*, or was one of the commenters on ANP?

For anyone wondering, Ruscitti was one of the guys pinched in the 1993 loansharking operation bust alongside Joe Lombardi, Mike Cataldo, Mike Sarno, Sal Cataudella, John Spizziri, and John Rainone.

The Don was Don Bellezzo. One of those guys who I believe also posted here was told me via Fosco: Bobby Ruscitti from Melrose Park who was affiliated with Lombardi's juice loan racket. Magnafichi was also posting in the comments regularly as Father Guido.

They always had such a weird way of talking, including fosco. My guess is that was more a product of being old dudes learning how to converse on a message board.
Yeah, that was definitely a part of it. I always found it hilarious how formal they were with their insults. “I kindly request that you cease your ramblings and shove it up your rear end.” Stuff like that .

In addition to Beatles of the outfit and strong made guys, Don was also obsessed with some framework that he would call “the extended …..crew”. As in , the Extended Elwood Park crew. In hindsight, it makes sense that he was being fed a lot of information from his uncle, who clearly had a huge affinity for Giancana. He would argue endlessly that giancana was the strongest gangster ever, that everyone was afraid of him., including Accardo. Which is pretty funny because just take a step back, one was exiled to Mexico and then shot in his basement. The other one quietly ran the outfit for near 50 years and died peacefully in his bed never have taken a major bust. Pretty evident who played their cards better

Remember when all of the comments wouldn't show and you had to keep expanding? The worst! Fosco was certainly one of the more accurate ones on there. It's been so long since I've read it, I can't remember any others. Of course The Don was full of shit. Black Angelo was also for the most part, but the Don made him look like Joe Valachi by comparison. They posted the most, if I remember correctly. I think Rick made a couple posts here and there but wasn't a regular.
Yea, there was always a competition between those guys to see who was more full of shit. Which one was always referencing "strong made guys"? I always found that term funny.

Coloboy wrote: Mon Oct 28, 2024 11:05 am I’ve brought up Fosco a few times recently, and I’m curious for everyone’s thoughts on a few things.

American news post back in the day was my introduction to the inner workings of the outfit. I have no idea how I stumbled upon that site. You have to sift through the ridiculousness and the bullshit, but the intel in those old threads is priceless to this day.

Fosco had a serious bone to pick with the outfit at that time. However, he pretty abruptly stopped writing about it, and has been silent since, with the exception of some generic outfit “addendums” a few years ago.

I have to wonder if he sort of settled his beef with members of the outfit, and that is why he doesn’t write anymore. I have to think that that is still his social circle in life to this day.

Does anyone have any clue what he is up to?

On that note, any updates on Mike Mags? I had heard rumors he might be active again because it seems like his crusade against the outfit has sort of quieted down.
Fosco stopped writing bc he agreed too with certain people. He now hangs out with Solly D’s son Vince, that clown that is always on Facebook making stupid posts, if that tells you anything about his character.
Fosco is no longer in Chicago - he moved to Georgia from when I last heard from him. He's also revealed a lot of the folks who were posting back on ANP - some of them used to post here as well. The most famous one was the nephew of Joe Lombardi aka 'The Don' who was outted years ago by on GangstersBB. There was also Nick Spina, the attorney in Melrose Park who flipped on August Taddeo and the inner corrupt workings of that suburb - but then went on to continue working for the DiFronzos, who would dog Fosco on the comments. One cannot forget the late Greg Tosto, nephew of Rocco Infelise.

NorthBuffalo wrote: Fri Oct 25, 2024 8:05 am What are people's thoughts on the status of Harry Gio, brother of the infamous Nick Gio? From what I've ready, Harry, who is still around, testified against his brother then was convicted himself in a separate auto insurance scheme about two years later.
Nick Gio was a psychopath that was used by Patrick to do dirty work nobody else would do. Don’t know about his brother but usually if you testify against somebody in open court then your not taken serious anymore.
He gave evidence to investigators about Gio throwing their mother down the stairs. I think he was really LaValley's goon who was largely trying too hard. The auto scam indictment however came a year later and involved multiple criminals who I doubt would partner with a 'rat.'

No argument there, @snakes. I even prefaced my comment with "you have to sift through the ridiculousness and the bullshit" . What is most interesting is sitting here today, with a much better base of knowledge, and going back to sort through those threads.

Snakes wrote: Tue Oct 29, 2024 11:59 am Half of the "insider" stuff turned out to be rubbish. Other than Fosco, I certainly don't think anyone gave any more "inside" information than we get in this thread, so it wasn't like it was some wellspring of information. I remember one guy posting his list of sleepers than ended up being just guys listed on a CCC chart aside from the "known" made guys. There were definitely some interesting discussions, it's just hard to weed out the bullshit from the truth.
This is true for pretty much everything, with a handful of exceptions, outside of this forum. It's like panning for gold, basically.
