In his testimony he says Manocchio was in charge in Providence and Jackie Salemme was in charge in Boston after Frank Salemme went on the lam. Yes, as you'll see on the first post in this thread, he says the Salemme faction consisted of the Rossettis and the Luisis.

thanks for your response. so was Jackie Salemme or Louis Manocchio the second in command to Frank Salemme in their faction? and were Mark and Steven Rossetti the main allies of Bobby Luisi, his father and the Salemmes?

Thanks for an interesting comment so was Luisi blocked from being made into the LCN by Frank Salemme or his brother Jackie? Despite Bobby Luisi and his father being members of the Salemme faction which was briefly fighting the Carrozza faction.

lol an allergic reaction only when sniffing it but not when ingesting the exact same substance? Never heard of that before. Luisi is def an odd duck.I liked the few episodes of his show when he had Eddie portalla on. Rico Ponzo has a pretty wild story. He was on the lam as long as Bulger and def didn't have as much money but he hustled his way into having a cattle ranch. Kind of cool. He talks about it more in his book. He says he had an allergic reaction when he snorted coke, so to get around it he'd chew and swallow a pea-sized amount of cocaine and then chase it with alcohol to get rid of the bitter taste.

Correct, which is why that took me by surprise . Mark was a rat but never heard anything about Gillis. Must be a typo, error or some shit. He's well respected.

I think Luisi, Sr. bullied the fuck out of the Clemente kid and the Clemente father was legitimately worried for his son's life and panicked inside the 99 that day.

Great thread as per usual Chin, thanks for breaking this down. I remember in Anastasia's book he portrayed Luisi as a cuck for not avenging the murder of his father and brother but it turns out that his own friends did it! Crazy stuff. Did he really say that he was "eating" cocaine??
