Fallout from Gus Farace
I was watching Mob Justice last night, the movie where Tony Danza played Gus Farace and I was wondering who all got clipped for helping hide Gus...I know Louie Tuzzio was for accidentally shooting Joey Sclafani and I think the Petruccelli guy from the Luke's was too...Why wasnt Jerry Chilli hit for his daughter harboring Gus? Btw, I thought it was a damn good movie...

Very good. Originally, "In The Line Of Duty--Mob Justice".
I loved when he was isolated and holed up in one dumpy room for days and a guy calls and asks if he can meet. He screams: "Do I look like I have a problem with free time?"

Danza did a really good job in that movie
Re: Fallout from Gus Farace
There's a couple pics of Danza with Joseph Ida on the net. Does anyone know their connection?

I don't understand why Farace when realized that the bonannos wanted him dead dont surrender to police?
For sure he would got life but would be alive.

May have faced the death penalty. But I’d still prefer to take my chance I guess

I dont think, governor Rockfeller in 1965 limited the death penalty to the murder of a cop, but the Supreme Court with Furman v. Georgia stopped the death penalty in all the States.
I think that Farace would get the life.

I assumed it would have been a federal death penalty case, believe death penalty was reinstated by Congress in 1980s. Again, it’s rare to see. I remember the Staten Island gun runner who executed two undercover detectives was sentenced to death, reversed, sentenced to death again I think, and reversed again to life in prison.

Reading more about this...you have to respect the loyalty of Johnny Petrucelli...Farace saved his life in prison so in turn Petrucelli refuses the order to clip him from Vic Amuso, which gets him killed...in a world where your best friend is the one who takes you out, I was taken back by this loyalty to a friend...very commendable in my opinion

Finally got around to watching this. Pretty good movie with a solid cast. The In the Line of Duty series is pretty solid from the ones I've seen. Each entry is about a true crime case. Unlike the usual made for t.v movie these have some pretty good actors appearing in them.
