Arrest out west
Associated Press-11/03/2022
DENVER, CO - Local residents were shocked today after a Utah man, living high up in the Sierra Mountains, was revealed in a Department of Justice press release as the reputed “Boss of the Denver/Pueblo Family of La Cosa Nostra.”
John Devesempre-Avereragione, 50, has been working behind the scenes to make money and not headlines for the past dozen or so years after his ascension to head of the previously thought defunct faction of La Cosa Nostra, popularly known as the Mafia or Italian Organized Crime. Residents of the greater Denver metropolitan area had for sometime confirmed a resurgence of the crime family formerly lead by 91 year old “Young Gene” Eugene Smaldone, who reportedly ceded his position sometime around 2010 in favor of Devesempre. The local media had been very careful to ignore whispers and so called “fresh street talk” until Indictments were issued yesterday confirming the existence of the family’s continued existence, similar to events in Buffalo, New York, and Hamilton, Ontario in the late 2010s.
The first predicate offense of the sweeping racketeering charges on Devesempre directly relates to an order direct from the National Commission, which reportedly sits the 5 NYC families, the Buffalo LCN,the Chicago Outfit, and the Kansas City LCN, that Devesempre would work to spread the continued belief that the Mafia was weakened and only a few families remained, despite the actual count of active families being 16.
Through the nomdegures of Wiseguy and IvyLeague, Devesempre successfully suppressed information on the mafia nationwide. The FBI is calling it among the biggest coups of our time.
Prosecutors have indicated they are pursuing a sentence of Life in Prison. Spokesman Maxwell Stern warned against similar crimes. “Let the Record show this individual was a one man repression of free speech across the United States. His Rampant Internet extortion will only be forgiven via a long prison sentence.”

I checked out what part of Italy his heritage is and the surname roughly translates to “Always has to be right” or “always thinks he’s right”

Re: Arrest out west
Obviously it’s fake, someone being a wiseguy by playing a joke on Wiseguy with a bullshit story about a wiseguy.
Hahahahahahahahh easily the best part!
Good clean fun, bravo to the author.

I suppose this is meant to be satire. Anyway, Wiseguy is obviously me. IvyLeage was the handle I went by on GBB before I realized that posting on that board is a complete waste of time. Speaking of which, some people apparently have a lot of it.JoeCamel wrote: ↑Fri Nov 04, 2022 2:38 am Associated Press-11/03/2022

The irony is, if they had left the obvious references out, some would have probably believed this.

Re: Arrest out west
“Victim 1, known on the street as Rooster, resided in the Buffalo, New York, area. On or about 2015 continuing into 2022, the defendant threatened with bodily harm and discrediting Victim 1’s reputation, with the aim silencing his journalistic pursuit on information relating to IOC (Italian Organized Crime) in the Buffalo Area.”
“Victim 2 resides in the New England Area. On or about June 7th, 2021, the defendant used his vast influence to intimidate Victim 2 to prevent him from disclosing members or associates of the New England Branch of the LCN whom resided in Maine.”
“Unindicted co conspirator 1, Street name Pogo, often would act in conjunction to the defendant in threat of bodily and reputational harm to Victim 3, an organized crime reporter, to prevent him for publishing information about the Detroit LCN group.”
“On or around September of 2022, Victim 4, a former bookmaker who claims to be an associate of the Colombo and Trafficante groups operating in south Florida, was forced by the conspirators to continually adopt new aliases rather then risk exposure of rampant patterns of revealing his associations with ‘Made Guys’ (Gentlemen as he referred to them) to other parties, known and unknown.
