What’s your holy grail Cosa Nostra photograph?
So I was reading/researching and came across another thread that gave me the inspiration to make this one. I feel like all of us who are very interested in Cosa Nostra have a list of members photos that we’ve never seen and would love to see. Surprisingly for a secret society most guys you can find photos of pretty easily. But there are some who are more difficult and even some that you’ve never seen.
So my question is this; if you could see a photo of one mobster that you’ve never seen who would it be for you?
For me it’s easy, it would be shadowy Genovese figure Dominick “Dom The Sailor” DeQuarto.
Would love to hear all of yours!

It's a new morning in America... fresh, vital. The old cynicism is gone. We have faith in our leaders. We're optimistic as to what becomes of it all. It really boils down to our ability to accept. We don't need pessimism. There are no limits.

He should be in one of those high school yearbooks. I think he said his senior photo said he wanted to be a bookmaker underneath it -- be cool if we could verify.

Good photo of William Vito Dentamarro

Maranzano is an obvious answer.
I can't think of anyone major in Chicago that doesn't have a photo concurrent with their activity. Maybe Jimmy Cozzo, whom I've only ever seen in an old 1967 mug and a small wedding photo from the 80s.

I don’t know if it’s exactly “Holy Grail” status, but one Chicago guy I’d really like to get a photo of is Santo Virruso.

Ah thanks! I actually remember seeing the bottom one before now, which was taken in either Florida or CA. The top one I’ve never seen.cavita wrote: ↑Fri Oct 07, 2022 7:54 pmPolackTony wrote: ↑Fri Oct 07, 2022 7:14 pmI don’t know if it’s exactly “Holy Grail” status, but one Chicago guy I’d really like to get a photo of is Santo Virruso.
The Mike in the top pic I think was Santo’s brother Michele, who was suspected of being involved in the 1935 assassination of Albert Prignano (Santo was the primary suspect).
Vincent in the second pic may be Michele’s son Vincenzo Virruso.

If I had to pick from my Rockford guys, I'd have to say Filippo Caltagerone, Filippo Vella and Antonio LoMonaco.
