A newspaper article titled “540-lb. canary tells of mob’s botched attempt to ice him” it stated that “The former capo told the Brooklyn Federal Court that he initially gave information to the FBI to help find Amuso and reputed Luchese Underboss Anthony “Gaspipe” Casso.”
