The Perna faction of the Lucchese family

Are Joseph, Ralph and John still together and active over in Jersey? Do they have the same power they did when they were raking in millions from gambling a decade ago?

I know Joe Perna was close with Merlino at one point.

Joseph R Perna (son of the late Michael Perna) is still acting captain in NJ for George Zappola according to Pennisi's sources.

John Perna is in FCI Ray Brook and isn't scheduled to be released until 2024. He and his father Ralph were active members of the NJ crew according to Pennisi when he was on the street (though they were both briefly transferred to the John Castelucci crew at some point). Joseph M Perna (son of Ralph) was sent to the Castelucci crew after his father and brother. He went to state prison but got out at the end of 2019. Unclear if he's still with the Brooklyn faction of the family or if he's been sent back to NJ. Michael Perna was on the shelf before he died, according to Pennisi.

Also according to Pennisi, there was a Christmas party held by the Lucchese NJ crew last year that was attended by Merlino and Joseph Licata.
