I saw his brother Stevie with Nicky Whip at Borgata in AC two summers ago.
Nicky Whip is shelved and not really welcomed back into the fold by the current guys because his brother is a rat and he supposedly still talks to him so his brother Stevie hangs out and pals around with a known rats brother who apparently still has contact with his rat brother.
You can have a rat as a family member as long as you completely cut all ties with them, that’s the rules. Look at Dom Grande, he completely cut all ties with his Father as did his Mother and Sister.
Joey is another perfect example, cut all ties with his Uncle Yogi.
The rules are pretty clear in that life….

Question on Casasanto....who was he assoicated with as he was coming up and/or at time of his death? I never heard of him till he was killed....when you read any articles about Philly mob before his death, there is no real mention of him.....never saw his name come up in history of the Merlino/Stanfa war and it does not sound like he was in the Scarfo crew in the 80s (like Pungitore, Narducci brothers, etc.)...Where did he fit in?

He was part of the Stanfa faction As a member of the shake down crews collecting the street tax. He was busted in the Stanfa indictment in 1994 and did about 4 years in prison.
