The drinking of lots of coffee, many cigars smoked, sandwiches eaten, newspapers read, war stories told, swag moved and the asses of wiseguys kissed. It's horrendously boring in actuality.

My father owned a ravioli/pork store on 86th st back in the late 70s early 80s (corner of 86th and bay 8th to be exact) a couple store fronts away from veterans and friends he told me the times he’d go in there to drop food it was a complete dump guys were pigs playing cards, smoke filled the air guys farting and burping . Probably wasn’t a pleasant place to hang around lol

Some of the few active clubs offer once a week no limit cash card games and traditional family dinner on Sundays. Otherwise as others have noted
