Mob Duos
There are certain guys who have sort of teamed up with another member for various reasons whether they be equal partners or have a clear boss/subordinate relationship and I think it would be interesting to see if we could get a list going. I'll start with some of the most obvious ones
Vic Amuso & Anthony Casso
Nicky Corozzo & Lenny DiMaria
Charlie Iannece & Nicky Caramandi
Paul Castellano & Tommy Bilotti

Should have went with Prodigy & Havoc
Vinny and Jimmy were that close? Seems odd cause Jimmy was with Paul Vario and not Vinny.

It's a new morning in America... fresh, vital. The old cynicism is gone. We have faith in our leaders. We're optimistic as to what becomes of it all. It really boils down to our ability to accept. We don't need pessimism. There are no limits.

Bill Tocco and Joseph Zerilli. They've been described as being the co bosses of the Detroit mob from the 30s-70s by some. But they were partners in businesses and worked closely in a lot of things for almost 60 years.

Apparently they were very close. There are a couple of great threads that B made on here regarding testimony from Asaro's big RICO case and it is clear that Vinny and Jimmy were really tight. They were in business with each other, they were always hanging out and they committed at least 2 murders together. As an example Peter Zuccaro testified that when he shot a guard dog that belonged (in a roundabout way lol) to Asaro, Vinny showed up at his house to threaten him with Jimmy the Gent at his side.johnny_scootch wrote: ↑Mon Nov 30, 2020 5:36 pmShould have went with Prodigy & Havoc

But Asaro's cousin Gaspar Valenti is the one who really fleshed out the bromance between these 2 gangsters. In addition to testifying about the crimes they committed together, he told a wild story that really stuck out to me. There was a guy who was an associate of a Colombo soldier, whose wife came to work at Asaro's fence company, and Vinny ended up banging her. The guy came to confront Asaro, who ended up pulling out a gun and letting off some shots. The guy (I think he had some backup with him as well) ended up leaving and Vinny immediately called Burke. When Jimmy showed up right away he took control of the scene: told Vinny and his son Jerry to go home, got Valenti to stay with him (Burke) and guard the fence company, and he even cut out part of the carpet where there was a bullet hole. He ended up going over to the associate's place of business and threatened to kill him if he didn't immediately squash the beef. I thought this story was remarkable because even though Asaro was a made member of the Bonannos, when he ran into a problem with some street guys and needed backup he didn't call his captain or anyone else offically associated with his family. He called his partner Jimmy who handled the situation real quick.

Scarfo and Leonetti. Any PL interview reminds you he was on the hit team at 9 years old
