Old interview with Nick Caramandi
I was doing some research on Caramandi and came across this old NPR interview with Caramandi and George Anastasia. Pretty interesting.

Re: Old interview with Nick Caramandi
I believe he is still alive. He is in his eighties now, and in 2016 he was reportedly living in a trailer park in "Middle America."Manhattan_ wrote: ↑Fri Sep 11, 2020 6:08 am Thanx , enjoyed listening to this . Is the crow still alive and still in witsec ?

Maybe the greatest mob book ever written blood n honor. Crow was great he didnt fluff himself up and came across as a dirtbag but it was a honest portrayal

Re: Old interview with Nick Caramandi
Heard the Crow is living these days in a Trailer Park in the Southern Poor Shithole Florida Panhandle broke as a joke wishing he never went bad.
Re: Old interview with Nick Caramandi
Tommy deluca flipped before him I think. Crow wood have ended up doing a long bid but he always said in his interviews he regretted flipping
Re: Old interview with Nick Caramandi
But tommy del wouldn't have been able to take them all down. That 1 2 punch killed the scarfo regime
Re: Old interview with Nick Caramandi
There's another interview he did years ago where he took questions in writing. Wish I could recall where it was. It might not be available anymore online. Was around 2000/2002, in that ball park.

You believe that? He was afraid of that long sentence like the rest of these guys that "regret it"

Did he ever kill anyone? From what I recall in the book it was always charlie white or someone else pulling the trigger and he was just there

Re: Old interview with Nick Caramandi
He said he was on the scene for four murders, but never pulled the trigger, and was involved in setting up another four or five—including the hit on Salvie Testa.Fughedaboutit wrote: ↑Fri Sep 11, 2020 5:34 pm Did he ever kill anyone? Re: Old interview with Nick Caramandi
He was backup shooter in the Pat Spirito murder, driver in the Frank Martines attempted murder, disposal in the Salvie Testa murder and was also on hit teams sent out to try and kill Harry Riccobene, Sonny Riccobene, Bobby Riccobene, Bobby Rego and others.

Re: Old interview with Nick Caramandi
Who did he go on-record with after Spirito was murdered?

Re: Old interview with Nick Caramandi
Never was a killer... just a con artist. Never should’ve been made. Two of scarfo’s biggest mistakes were making Nicky crow and killing Salvie.
