Surprised not to see more on Timmy Mello and Tempest fisheries...lived in New Bedford While fishing and he’s the local legend. Basically took overa fishing fleet and processing plant over gambling/loansharking debts and became a respectable gangster. Wanted to be made despite being Porteguese. Lots of connections to New England Mob and rival of the Frenchman. Only seen one post mentioning him and felt worth bringing him up. Went to the feds in 2004 Got released after 7 and half years and still remains a shadowy figure in greater New Bedford.
