In a recent GL article, I believe last week, it mentioned that Evangelista was mistakenly released from the MCC when he was about to face new charges

Today in the Daily News it mentioned the MCC releasing a bank robber mistakenly, with a different name, but very similar circumstances. Except the DN says the person was named Michael Matthews

On GLA it said that Evangelista basically got out, walked around, and went back. This article says this Mike Matthews went home to Queens for a few days

Could the MCC have done this twice? or, is Evangelista, presumably now in WPP, under an a different name (Matthews)? if thats the case, than this article has a picture of him. they also fucked up by listing family members names and general neighborhood locations where they live

I think it’s gotta be someone else the timing doesn’t make any sense it would have happened months ago for GL to be writing about it recently think about how slow justice/gov systems move.

I believe Capeci just wrote about it last week or the week before. I really dont know what to think. Its crazy that the MCC could have had two separate career bank robbers, serving similar sentences and awaiting pending charges, get released early by mistake like this. if thats the case, they really do have an administrative problem. I could see the DN switching up some details - primarily the name since Evangelista is a witness now - just to get their point across that the MCC has problems and tie it into the Epstein thing. it just seems way too crazy for this to happen twice
