Interesting that 90% of these guys are dead. The 1970s are officially "ancient history" now it seems.

A lot of these guys in particular didn't seem to live very long.

Thanks for posting

No problem! I noticed that too about these guys, especially the one kid who got made at 28 and died 6 years later. And it also seems like an awful lot of them got killed like a year or two after getting straightened out. It's almost like these ceremonies were "cursed" or something.

Being a member of the Colombo family in general might be what's cursed...

Have no idea where he gets his photos from. The NYPD? Most photos from the FBI are shit quality.

Had to laugh at "FNU LNU" on the one list. The most obscure member, from "parts unknown." Surveillance shots show only a shadow on the ground.

The profile shot of Junior Palermo is a dead ringer for his brother Vincent of the DeCavs. Speaking of which, would be great to see some of JD's similarly great posts archived on there, especially the DeCavalcante ones, but really any of them.

Where does he get the photos?
Some of the photos that pop up
in the Mugshot section seem like
they are taken on a family vacation.

Especially impressive is the photo of Jimmy Angellino, the Colombo consig murdered after polling the captains before the 3rd war. We briefly discussed him recently on a different thread here, thats the first clear photo iv seen of him.

I’ve read that some people believe Gerry Lang was secretly made many years before this. Any thoughts on this one

Where was it you read this, I'd be interested to see it. In Donnie Brasco, Pistone identifies Langella and Little Allie Boy Persico as both being recently made around the time he was hanging out with Jilly Greco so that backs it up that they were made post-opening the books.

Scarpa and possibly others talked about Allie Persico (the brother, not son) being inducted around 1972 before the books officially re-opened. JD has since said that Persico was inducted by the Bufalino family and immediately transferred back to the Colombos to help run the family due to Carmine's incarceration. Langella was inducted after the books re-opened.
