Questions about Ralph Natale

Couple of questions concerning philly mob boss turned rat ralph natale:
1. What was the full story behind the joe sodano hit? Ive read that mike virgilino and others participated, and ive also read that pete caprio participated.
2. Natale stated that he only gave one mobster a pass rather than murdering them. Anyone know who he is referring to?
3. Who did ralph induct into the family while he was boss?

Philip Casale shot Sodano. Caprio drove the getaway car. Vincent Centorino was also involved. Forgot what his role was.


Not sure everyone Natale inducted. John Ciancaglini would have been one. Joseph Curro is a strong possibility. Maybe Nicky Olivieri. A bunch of guys were made in the late 90s but they could have been made after Natale was in prison. Hopefully JDs next installment on Natale will cover his ceremonies.

Most certainly for Curro if he wasn't among the first Ligambi 5. If Phil Ligambi is made then he most certainly would have been another one. If not by Natale then Merlino during the 1998-1999 period. Virgilio was most likely made during that period after his role in the Turra hit. We now know the Boston ceremony (conducted by Borgesi) inolved only Boston guy's.

I think Natale sincerely believed he was boss of Philly.
Do we know if Natale ever met with any other Families? Or if they even contacted NY about him being boss? I feel that back then Joey didnt give a shit about NY so it didnt really matter what they said. Stanfa had the okay from the Gambinos ik.

Yea I guess everything Ralph Natale says should be taken with a grain of salt. He wasn't well liked by most of the Bruno guys or the Merlino guys. Aside from being good with union corruption he was pretty much a nobody and was at the right place at the right time. He was a Junior Soprano like boss who was taken advantage of by Joey and his friends.

I cant really think what all three would have in business wise, maybe Atlantic City?? Bufalinos controlled a lot unions but i doubt D'Elia had anything ×ith them.... im pretty sure the fam was in full decline by that point
