The bonanno’s administration following the reveal that joey massino was an informant seems to be very confusing. Ik that sal montagna was #1, but was he official boss? If so, then was mike mancuso official boss from 05-06? Ik that vinny gorgeous was basically out of the picture since some bonannos refused to take orders from him. Anyone know who was the boss, underboss, and consigliere of the Bonnanos from 05-2012?

It was something like this Mancusa, Montagna, ruling panel, Vinnie TV, acting bosses. Underboss was Santora. Rabitto was acting Consigliere, then became official . There might of been a ruling panel in between the acting bosses that got indicted, but no info yet. Not sure if the ruling panel of DeFiore, Asaro and Rabitto was formed in 2012 or 2013.

Massino was elected boss while in prison. Mancuso became Official Boss around 2012.

IIRC, Carmine Persico & Tony Ducks were both made bosses while
in jail. If not 'official' the position was held for them until they got
out.

That piece of the puzzle has never been uncovered. With Sammartinos short stay on the leadership panel it could be sfew other not so we'll known guys also. I think a good strong guess would be Vinnie TV Badalamenti, who at the time of Montagnas deportation was acting consigliere.
