The new Consigliere

Post by Eddie mush »

In the old days this was a position for a older journey man to weigh in on tough decisions and act as the advisor. A guy almost semi retired so i am sure if he got some envelopes he was happy

But in todays mob the position has changed greatly
Its basically just the #3 in most families and the age has come way down so how does the consig earn?? Does he have a crew that he runs and gets a piece. Does he get a cut off all monies kicked up from the capo’s ??

Thanks

I'd say both. Gambino Bobby Vernace had a big crew he ran out
of his cafe. Others san crew get a cut of the admin's kick up.

bobby manna had five crews under hes control i think. christie tick and casso. joe gallo had agro as one of hes men even though he was under armone. i feel the position has lost its prestige all day long they used to sort out inner and outer family problems.
