It certainly appears that anybody can start up a gambling operation in New England with the declining state of LCN. Gone are the old days, LCN will cease to exist "as we know/knew it." Matter of time.

It certainly appears that anybody can start up a gambling operation in New England with the declining state of LCN. Gone are the old days, LCN will cease to exist "as we know/knew it." Matter of time.

It's been a slower process in some places than many predicted 20 or 30 years ago but it's still happening.

As I've said before, while I can't predict a timeframe, I do believe the day will come when the LCN will only be found within the extended New York metropolitan area.

And by that I mean the five NYC boroughs, Long Island, Westchester and other suburbs north of the city, Southwest Connecticut, and North-into-Central New Jersey.

Heck, about 85% of the Mafia's membership is already within that area.

An absolutely ridiculous statement. "pick the pockets"...."unsuspecting" of what? They thought they were contributing to a charity?
