Five Alleged Members and Associates of La Cosa Nostra Indicted for Racketeering and Related Charges

A 32-count indictment was unsealed today in federal court in Brooklyn charging two inducted members and two associates of the Colombo organized crime family (the “Colombo family”) with racketeering, including predicate acts of extortion, extortionate collection, money laundering and illegal gambling. The indictment also charges one inducted member of the Gambino organized crime family of La Cosa Nostra (the “Gambino family”) with extortionate collection and a related conspiracy. The indictment relates to the defendants’ alleged criminal activities in Brooklyn, Staten Island and elsewhere between December 2010 and June 2018.

It should be noted that Fat Jerry Ciauri is probably the same person that Larry Mazza called Fat Jerry Chiarri, a former Wimpy Boys member. His age matches up with the ages of the other Wimpy Boys. Jerry was a leg breaker and goon, but as Larry says, anybody in the Wimpy Boys was/is “makeable.”

The US Attorney for the Eastern district of NY, the Assistant Director of the FBI for NY and the FUCKING COMMISSIONER OF THE NYPD announced the charges against..... wait for it... wait for it... 3 made guys accused of GAMBLING AND LOAN.

Can we all think about that.

A couple of guys taking bets (which is legal at casinos and... most of the western world) and giving loans out (go check out a million payday loan firms, credit card companies and note their credit rates) and this draws out the three highest law officials in a city of twenty million people.

6 reputed mobsters accused of threatening debtors

The mob is still alive and well, prosecutors said Wednesday as six reputed members and associates of the Colombo and Gambino crime families — three of them “made men” — were arraigned for loansharking and other crimes in Brooklyn federal court Wednesday. Assistant US Attorney Matthew Miller described how allegedly inducted Colombo soldier Vito “The Mask” Difalco terrorized his debtors, who Miller said “keep paying because they would be terrified of what would happen to them if they don’t pay.”

Brooklyn federal prosecutors cracked down on Mafia loan sharks Wednesday — including one reputed gangster who turned on his own partner in the illegal loan business. Authorities unsealed a 32-count indictment against five alleged Colombo and Gambino members and associates, accusing them of carrying out roughly eight years of loansharking and illegal gambling.
