I know gravano, casso, basciano, and I believe scarfo sr were in Florence admax prison who am I missing? Former outfit boss James marcello has been there 5 years and that seems very extreme based on his conviction. There's many convicted mobsters with 2 murders that are not even in high security prisons but medium security. Usually admax is reserved for the worst of the worst specifically guys that tried to plan murders from behind bars. If anyone else can weigh in on why marcello specifically is being kept there please share. Only thing I heard was the Feds were trying to put pressure on him to get him to flip which will never happen

That place is beyond terrifying. My former dorm-mate's brother is being held there for putting a hit on a judge and prosecutor in the Eastern District of NY while he was starting to serve a 15yr sentence.

Vinny Gorgeous was shipped to USP Big Sandy in Inez, KY. Its a Max facility with a minimum security camp.

I forgot they put rizzuto in there. That's another head scratcher. If you look at that list rizzuto and marcello don't seem like they belong somewhere like that when compared with the gravanos and cassos.
