I'm sure there have been posts about this in the past but a recent accidental find caused me to think about this a little more. The attached obituary appears to show that Frank Vatrano (currently on the Anaheim Ducks) is the nephew of Albert Calvanese, currently believed to run Springfield for the Genovese.

I know that Anthony D'Angelo's dad is connected and childhood friends with many in the Philly mob. I think the football player, Bosa(?) has a strong mob connection through his grandfather. Chris Nilan married Whitey Bulger's long term girlfriends daughter. Any others?
