I don't think I've ever posted a "one-word comment" ...Antiliar wrote: ↑Sat Aug 05, 2023 9:11 pmAccessing that section is a benefit for members who are active and make regular posts, especially high quality ones (not one-word comments).trafficante wrote: ↑Sat Aug 05, 2023 11:19 amI’m unable to view that part of the forum.antimafia wrote: ↑Sat Aug 05, 2023 11:16 amGo to viewtopic.php?f=44&t=7390&p=186240&hili ... ia#p186240 for the 2 PDFs that were uploade by the poster thekiduknow. Here you go -- tap/click on my Evernote links below, then save the 2 PDFs to your device (laptop, smartphone, etc.)trafficante wrote: ↑Sat Aug 05, 2023 11:19 amI’m unable to view that part of the forum.antimafia wrote: ↑Sat Aug 05, 2023 11:16 amGo to viewtopic.php?f=44&t=7390&p=186240&hili ... ia#p186240 for the 2 PDFs that were uploade by the poster thekiduknow. Good idea to save the 2 files ASAP, as any edit I later make to the Evernote notes will render the above shareable links invalid.

I requested Nick Calabrese's 302s but the FBI refused to release them citing third party privacy:
Please be advised the FBI will neither confirm nor deny the existence of such records pursuant to FOIA exemptions (b)(6) and (b)(7)(C), 5 U.S.C. §§ 552 (b)(6) and (b)(7)(C). The mere acknowledgement of the existence of FBI records on third party individuals could reasonably be expected to constitute an unwarranted invasion of personal privacy. This is our standard response to such requests and should not be taken to mean that records do, or do not, exist.

You got further than I did, they told me they didn't even have any records.chin_gigante wrote: ↑Mon Feb 10, 2025 8:57 am I requested Nick Calabrese's 302s but the FBI refused to release them citing third party privacy:

Some of Al D’Arco’s 302’s were released on PACER. It was an exhibit for Furnari’s parole hearings. Different circumstances but I hope this helps in some way I mean it was released publicly which is something.chin_gigante wrote: ↑Mon Feb 10, 2025 8:57 am I requested Nick Calabrese's 302s but the FBI refused to release them citing third party privacy:

You can appeal. In the appeal, you can argue that the public interest in the records outweighs any privacy concerns. You can also argue that the documents are needed for transparency or historical purposes
Re: FBI files worth requesting
I've pored through virtually every available docket entry for the Family Secrets case and never came across Nick's 302s. My guess is most of what needed to be addressed on that front was addressed in his testimony. It may be in one of the sealed entries, but I have yet to come across it in the hundreds of unsealed entries I've examined.Little_Al1991 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 10, 2025 9:39 amSome of Al D’Arco’s 302’s were released on PACER. Frank Calabrese Jr. has them and I've been talking with some of the other Mob Arch guys to see if we can somehow obtain a copy of them from him.
