Any info on Michael Cirelli, the guy who lived in the apartment of the famous "Ravenite" Gotti tapes.

Palmieri was made in the 1970s so he wasn´t made at the time.

Jimmy Higgins Palmieri was on the lists from this era and also was mentioned a bunch of times on the DeCarlo wiretaps.

Is there anything saying that he was made in the ‘70s?

Like I said plenty of times, those lists produced by the FBI in the early to mid 1960s have plenty of flaws. It was later established that Jimmy Higgins was made in or around 1976.

Lenehan claimed he was made in the 1970s but his info is always questionable -- so that's supported by other sources you've seen?

LCNBios doesn't have him on his 1970s Gambino induction list so he must not have come across anything about it.

He was a low-level associate in NJ who flipped and pretended he was a Newark Genovese member online for many years. He successfully convinced many people they were getting the inside scoop from a real made guy but he was a source of constant board drama and ruined any credibility he had.

He did an AmericanMafia interview under his true name where he claimed to have dropped Palmieri off in NYC for his induction ceremony in the 1970s. He was such a pathological liar under his "Picasso" persona that anything he says has to be corroborated elsewhere. It's unfortunate as he was a sharp guy and a great storyteller who did grow up around wiseguys in Newark.

So he was like John Alite?

I was thinking that Palmieri was made because of the DeCarlo tapes but I guess not. He would be an odd guy to name drop anyways, he wasn't well very known.

I think Anthony Carminati may have been a part of Bronx based crew before joining the Paterno crew.

ANTONIO CARMINATI
(Anthony, Little Tony, Tony C)
DOB: Feb 1 1912
POB: Jersey City, NJ
F: Domenico Carminati
M: Marie Montalto
W: Rose Sammarro
Occupation: Garment factory owner
Address: 1431 14th St, Fort Lee, NJ
Previous Addresses: 2418 Beaumont Ave, Bronx, NY; 2358 Lorillard Pl, Bronx, NY;
SBI #: 57917
FBI #: 1947698
Death: Sep 25 1998
Family from Reggio Calabria, Italy

-----------------

He was born in NJ, was living in the Bronx by the 1930 census, got married in NJ in 1933, and was still in the Bronx by the 1950 census. Pretty confusing.

If he was seen as a Bronx guy, it could explain why the rest of the Paterno disliked him when he took over later on. Plus, it would make more sense why he was seen as being directly connected to Carlo Gambino.

Carminati was a major drug guy. The 1983 document says that he was one of the largest heroin wholesalers in the NYC area in the ‘50s. It also says that he was associated with Vincent Mauro, Joseph Pagano, and Salvatore Baldamenti; all Genovese guys.

BIRTH 2 MAR 1919 • NY, US

DEATH 7 JUL 1965 • NY, US (I think the date actually was 6 Nov 1960)

I don't know if this is the right guy, but his parents came from Agrigento and had lived on 119 Elizabeth Street. His parent were Salvatore Biondo and Gaetana Mazza. His mother was Rosaria Saitta, and she came from Montevago.
This is confusing, but this info reached the FBI in 1965 (from Biondo´s file):

Unless the informant was wrong, it does look like Joseph Biondo had a brother named Charles. Or could it be that "Charlie" was a nickname for one of Biondo´s brothers?

According to Joseph Biondo´s wife, Joe did have a brother named Charles who died ca 1963 of a heart condition.

Lol, going through the file, we´re getting closer for each page. Turns out that that Charles Biondo´s true name was Salvatore Biondo (ca 1909-Oct 1964) and was indeed a brother of Joseph Biondo.
