re: Trucchio being shelved, there have been at least 3 different rumors / scenarios as to why. whether or not they are true, or any are true, who knows

he got into a spat with Joseph Corozzo the lawyer because he allegedly wanted to be separated from the codefendants, specially as to not have to sit next to or be mentioned alongside the kid who helped kill the Bosshart guy (even though a CI had a recording of someone saying that Trucchio ordered the murder)

he allegedly got into a spat with Vernace during a defense strategy meeting (even though I believe they were not indicted together nor on trial together) where Vernace slapped him

he allegedly tried shaking down Michael Roccaforte’s brother (not sure if this was Frank Roccaforte who worked under Trucchio for half his life, bookmaking - or another brother) which resulted in Roccaforte beating him up in prison (even though they were in separate facilities at the time of the alleged incident)

who knows if any of these are true. i have a hard time believing the guy was shelved but who knows. i guess time will tell

if they were going to shelf him for anything it should have been for when his crew member Francis LaCorte orchestrated the robbery and murder of an old man who ran a popular neighborhood business and most likely knew Trucchio, his family, and the family of other crew members personally

id like to see when some of the other crew members get released too. i have a hard time believing these guys are just going to go away, or go straight. Especially since some of the people who had the power to shelf Trucchio are dead

An Ozone Park man who masterminded a crime spree that led to the cold-blooded murder of pizzeria owner’s son was sentenced to spend at least the next 50 years behind bars Monday.

Queens Supreme Court Judge Richard Buchter referred to defendant Francis LaCorte as a “Charles Manson-like figure” who had “armed, heartless killers at his behest” before he sentenced the 29-year-old LaCorte to 50 years to life after he was convicted on 13 counts.

“I have had cases that I have agonized over,” said Buchter, as LaCorte sat at the defendant’s table encircled by court guards. “This is not one of them.”

In March, LaCorte, who had ties to the Gambino crime family, was convicted of recruiting a handful of ex-cons to conduct a series of push-in robberies in the neighborhood during the summer of 2009.

On Sept. 9, 2009, Gerardo “Jerry” Antoniello, a beloved school custodian, was shot in the back of the head when he came to the assistance of his cancer-stricken father Bartolomeo, who was being pistol-whipped by the assailants.

During the trial, prosecutors said LaCorte had sent the thugs to hold up Antoniello or break into his home in the hopes of finding cash proceeds from Romeo’s, the Ozone Park pizzeria that Antoniello owned for 20 years.

Prosecutors accused LaCorte of staking out Romeo’s from the cellphone store he ran across the street on Cross Bay Boulevard. They also presented jurors with several damning text messages between LaCorte and the thieves that tied him to the murder.

Before the sentencing, the victim’s brothers, Carmine, an NYPD sergeant, and Angelo made statements in court, consisting largely of venomous remarks aimed at LaCorte.

“My brother is in a box in the cemetery. Your family gets to visit you and interact with you,” brother Carmine Antoniello told LaCorte, calling him “the definition of a true coward.

“All Jerry knew was home, family and work. Jerry lived his life to help people, whether he knew them or not.”

Jerry Antoniello was planning to sign a contract to purchase a condo on Sept. 9, 2009, the day he was murdered.

Angelo Antoniello told the court that since his brother’s murder “holidays come and go and never are like they once were.”

The brothers said their parents could have hardly imagined their lives would take this tragic turn when they emigrated from Italy 30 years ago.

Family matriarch Gaetana Antoniello attempted to address the court, but quickly became overwrought.

“Every night I go to sleep I don’t want to wake up,” she said in a hushed weep.

Two men who later identified themselves as LaCorte’s stepfather and uncle cast their eyes downward during the mother’s brief, tearful remarks.

LaCorte also spoke before the sentencing. Reading a prepared speech from a marble composition notebook, he told the court he was financially “comfortable” and had no need to plan any robberies. He also said he had no connection to the victims.

LaCorte highlighted his educational training, interest in playing and teaching chess and what he termed “no history of violence.”

But just like the jury, the judge was not convinced, slapping LaCorte with second-degree felony burglary and robbery murder counts, totaling 25 years to life for the Antoniello case.

LaCorte also received separate 12 1/2-year sentences for planning two other home invasions during the summer of 2009.

The guy he wanted to seperate from was Gennarro Jerry Bruno whom Al was always with, Especially before being made, One of his best friends and right hand men. Al did order that murder, Of Bosshart ! And Frankie Roc was the one he tried extorting and shaking down, Another one of his very close friends, Especially before being inducted ! They tried extorting Romeo's pizzeria and restaurant and he told them fuck outta here so they went to his house and tried robbing him and ended up murdering him . Some honor and balls these guys have, Scum !! Bosshart was another one, An earner and a fighter, Even though Bosshart worked with these guys he wouldn't allow them to abuse him and basically told them fuck off on many things, They had a fear of the guy because they knew he put up a fight and stood up for himself and Bosshart was a dangerous guy and would cause problems, Which he did at times so they do what suckers do, Get a few guys to go after him and set him up and pop him in the back of the head while he's pissing , Most of these guys are pussies, Scum, and backstabbed. If they know you could fight, And were legitimate tough guys they do what they do, Get a bunch of guys to to go after and set up some poor legit tough guy and cant/Wont even face the guy, Or confront him without an army behind them, Or a few guys for backup and shoot the guy in the back of the head or jump him and give him a beating. That's why I have zero respect for any of these bum losers. It wouldn't surprise me if these guys had to suck dick just to join/Be inducted they probably would ! Lmfao smh... like that case where the Gambinos inducted whatever his name was in HB just so he would no longer have to suffer beatdown and getting abused constantly by Ronnie G . Clowns
