Salvatore Gravano never goes on about the rest of the people he sent to prison for the rest of their lives. He always tries to justify being a rat. He is full of shit. Every locked-up mobster facing life is mad at his boss on some level. And the oath of Omerta was not taken with there being exceptions, like you have to be quiet UNLESS you get pissed off at your boss and can make a case for why it's his fault. John Gotti running his mouth and there being a bug in the room is not on the same planet as talking to the feds directly. Not even close.At the end of the day Gravano did it to save his own skin. He always makes it sound like the only person be put in prison was Gotti what about all the other guys he ratted on? Was there a reason for that to? I tend to agree that some of what Gravano says doesn't pass the smell test. But keep in mind without informers like him, we'd know almost nothing about the Mafia, and there wouldn't be much to talk about here!

I must agree with you on that. As much as i hate rats, i must admit that i watch all of these guys LCN informers videos on youtube. From John Pennisi to Michael Franzese. All of them. The only guy i can't endure to watch is John Alite.

I don't mind Sammy's podcast. The whole Watts saga has been very interesting. It's not like it was out of left field. I faintly recall discussions on RD about Watts being an active CI and also discussions about Watts paying for protection in prison. If what Sammy is saying is true, it's hilarious, but I can't believe that someone as sharp as George Gabriel was convinced that Watts was going to give them a 'commission meeting', get a no-hits mandate passed, get the books closed, etc.

I think he said it was Bruce Mouw who bought it, which is damn near unfathomable since he headed the FBI Gambino squad and should have known Watts wasnt able to attend Commission meetings...
