Don't know much about Cleveland at all but who was Angelo Lonardo? Wasn't he a high up admin level member who flipped? I have it in my head he was the sitting boss at one point because I remember there was something he traveled to NY and met with the Genovese/Salerno about.
Lonardo was the Cleveland UncerBoss and later Acting Boss.

Thought that was Peanuts Tronolone who was speaking to Tony Salerno for Johnny Keys after the Bruno hit...

How about Jimmy the weasel Fratianno as I think that he was either acting boss or underboss when he flipped. Also Frank Salemme could be another boss that flipped although he gave up Connolly, Flemmi and Bulger rather than the Mafia.
I believe that technically Fratianno had given up his "acting unberboss" position when he flipped because Brooklier and Sciortino had gotten out of prison and taken back over from Fratianno and Dragna.

He was but Lonardo also traveled to NY to discuss business with Salerno and Funzi Tieri.

Wasnt Angelo Lonardo the official Cleveland boss when he flipped?
No,he was the street boss in 1983 when Licavoli was in prison.
Angelo Lonardo’s trial was the first time in US History that the RICO Act was used against a mob boss. At the time, Angelo was the highest ranking member in mafia history to turn states evidence. His testimony was significant, and he was also called to testify in the commission case because of his close relationship with Tony Salerno.
