George seems to know the two murders, he made the point to say that the Feds were looking at an indictment that brought everyone together. He also mentions indictments hitting guys getting out. That's either Staino, Mousie, or Canalichio, none of which are involved in DiPietro. Additionally, when DiPietro got shot, Uncle Joe and George were in the middle of a re-trial. The idea that either of them endorsed the hit on DiPietro, while in trial for their lives, is nuts. That's why I went with the two that I did. I think if its anyone else it would be Gongs, especially if they are pleading out the guys in Jersey without indicting Dom.
They could approved the hit and and it went off half cocked when they executed it
Why would the mob need uncle joe and george’s approval? If anyone, they prob had to go to joey, who was in town around the time of the hit for his father’s funeral. Grande could avoid an indictment on the murder if hes smart and managed to keep quite about the hit.
this could all be bullshit as well to trickle a wire , I just watched the full video there almost trying to imply that mousie help out his son with that 15 year sentence ,
would it surpise you if Grande flipped and put the admin in on the hit? althought very unlikely anything is possible we will have to wait and see

The apparent motive for the DiPietro hit was that he was an informant. At least that was what GA reported afterwards. The insulting Nicodemo at a card game thing (including invented dialogue between Merlino and Nicodemo discussing the murder) came from ScottB several years after the fact.

Killing him for being an informant, that could be it but it seems and half cocked for the way they did the hit. They could have properly planned it because he had been out for a long time. Also, if the motive was so simple as GA suggested early on, it would have been easy to offer it at trial as a motive. They must not have had solid evidence on that. I think that hit makes more sense that someone was insulted or burned on a debt and decided to make a point out of him but who knows.
Whether it was the actual (or only motive) for the hit I have no idea but it was confirmed that DiPietro was working as an informant. I think it may have been for the local PD but I could be wrong on that. As for poorly planned hits that is pretty much a Philly hallmark. Several of their hits have been poorly planned and poorly carried out.

Not the Rocco Maniscalco Hit, that was pure precision.
That's if Maniscalco was hit by the mob. Jury's still out on that. If it was done because he wasn't paying a Borgesi shakedown crew then wouldn't Bent Finger Lou have known about it before he started cooperating?

The dialogue was great. Straight outta a bad B movie.
“Gino told Tony Nics (Anthony Nicodemo) to go fuck himself and he did it in front of a bunch of people,” a source recounted to Gangster Report of the beef. “Nics just stood there and smiled for a while and then he kicked him out….they were both yelling. Gino called him a wannabe and Anthony said yeah, you’re gonna wanna be in another country in about two seconds if you don’t kick bricks. Anthony ain’t someone to trifle with. Everyone knows that. Gino just didn’t care.”
FBI never lies. Several things Scott has posted before it came out from "official sources? proved to be true. I mean people like H Paul Rico and John Connoly were stand up guys for the FBI.
Scott also had FBI sources, but if it isnt stated that it is the FBI it came from certain individuals refuse to believe it. The feds are losing credibility by the day.

I just think the quote is funny. Whether Scott’s sources are legit are not I don’t really care.
