My post above was tongue in cheek for those who missed it.

I thought that it was a little out of character for you.
Re: Accardos possible CI
And damn you, you made me buy that issue of the Informer to read that article again!
Re: Accardos possible CI
Pogo's right. Accardo was the informant "Sporting Goods"....in a sarcastic sort of way. That doesn't mean that a top Chicago boss didn't provide information to authorities. One did. It wasn't detailed information about the Outfit, but he named off people he knew and how long he knew them, and a few other facts...enough to help send one of his underlings to prison. Yet it wasn't held against him, he remained the boss with only a few complaints until he died. Another ex-boss gave info to the FBI, but the information he provided was never used. Can anyone guess the names of the two Outfit bosses?

In all seriousness though it wouldn't surprise me in the least if Accardo gave up some info to stay out of prison. It looks very suspicious that every top guy around him (Aiuppa, Cerrone, Battaglia, Carlisi, Aldersio, Alex, DiFronzo, Lombardo, LaPietra, etc) ends up in prison and he doesn't even get indicted in an era where every top guy in the country is going down.

Re: Accardos possible CI
If anyone was I would say difronzo , everyone around him has been jailed apart from him , I'm sure nick calabrese placed him at the spilotro murders and still nothing , if I was a mobster that would Defo get my radar up
Re: Accardos possible CI
Thing about DiFronzo is that the corroborating evidence that was there for Marcello was missing. He had no phone call placed to the Spilotro residence that could hang him up like it did Marcello. Lou Marino was also allegedly there and he is once again a free man.

Obama's a pimp he coulda never outfought Trump, but I didn't know it till this day that it was Putin all along.
Re: Accardos possible CI
Again, where is the evidence for this? I trust Antilliar's sources but for someone to just come out and say DiFronzo is an informant without any proof is just weird, particularly since others get excoriated for doing the same thing in other threads. I don't care either way, I'd just like to see the sources out of pure interest.

Snakes, to be clear I'm not disputing there is no clear cut evidence that Accardo is Sporting Goods or that No Nose was a rat, what I'm saying is that based on the limited info available, Accardo never getting pinched and the testimony that No Nose what at the scene of the Spilotro murders one could infer that that is case for both of them. That and I had a couple beers today and I'm never wrong when I've been drinking.
