Don't know actually, but I would guess they can work something out if somebody of importance turns. Perhaps deliver him to the US for witsec.

I think they do have some kind of WP, but of course it's rarely used. When you can hardly get 15 years for murder, many don't turn. I imagine it came down to money for Magi, he wasn't the straightest one in the world but he was making money and paying for an entourage (still not sure what happened to his so called security he had for years). My only guess is he thought that the Rizzuto's were not going to come after him anymore and it cost him. Either way it's pretty stupid to be tied to Nick Jr's murder and you stay in Canada period. Look at Moreno Gallo and Joe Bravo, one left the country to stay alive and one stayed out of country by law and used it as an excuse and both were still killed. If he could do that it's hard to say that Magi could have hid anywhere as long as he had ties to Canada.
If I didn't have my case coming up, I would like to come back with you gentlemen when this is over with and really lay the law down what is going on in this country.....

I can hardly believe that. I think he knew very well the family wasn't going to forget about it. I can imagine that he actually had enough of this way of life (24/7 security and constantly being on guard) and he choose to accept his fate just going about his business.

Damn!!! Wasn’t there multiple attempts on this guy from many years back???? Crazy they just now got him...!those guys up there don’t play around when it comes to murder.. and they are patient as fuck.. if they want you dead you’re pretty much fucked... seems like they will wait years til your guard is down, or til it’s just the right time... Vito strikes again from the grave. Would love to see a chart of who’s still full aligned with Vito’s guys, (guessing his son Leonard and the renda kid now) shows they still have allies ready to do work.... doesn’t fully surprise me cause the Rizzutos have those old world Sicilian ties...

I think they'll recover. I doubt the will be nearly what they were when Vito was around before the war, but I think they will stabilize. They still have the connections.

don't forget that the rizzuto are allied with the caruana-cuntrera, they sure have strong connections in south america, they probably carried out the murder of moreno gallo or danny ranieri in mexico

Wasn't ranieri a rizzuto loyalist?

yes, but maybe he betrayed them, i don't know
joe bravo and pimentel were also rizzuto loyalists but they were killed in sicily and the order probably came from vito rizzuto

Bravo and Pimentel were not loyal, the reason for their hit, they were neutral, subscribering to neither Rizzuto or Desjardines

I just haven't seen any evidence that ranieri was killed by the rizzutos. The last I had heard he was their man in Ontario, but was running from the law.
