I don't see how one can't make money with these clubs.
Vinny Ocean owned the Penthouse Club in Houston, TX
That was way after my time--haven't lived in Houston in over 25 years.

I attended a bachelor party at 'Lipsticks' titty bar in 1987.
I'm told I had a lot of fun.

Do they? HA! I don't keep up with there whereabouts so I wouldn't know but I guess they gotta live somewhere you'd think it'd be some out of the way place like Texas but I guess its hard to make that much of a change for these guys.
They like the warm climate, AZ, Houston TX, South FL etc. No one is worried about getting killed anymore. Its all horseshit just like the mob today lives off their reputation from the 1950s- 1980s. People don't even pay their gambling debts anymore never mind a rat worried about getting killed. Their is a reason why Crea didn't want Sean Richard killed by Datello. The Feds would be all over them 24/7 they wouldn't be able to make a dime.

Florida seems risky for a rat but I wouldn't put anything past that guy. He did that thing on tv and basically said come get me so he def has balls.
Fl is full of rats you kidding me? They all live down there, Mikey Scars, Russo, GIanini crew members, Ricciardi brothers, Paciello, D'Arco, and many more. Allot of them in Pambeach and broward
I have always wondered if they communicate with each other.
A 'Rat Club' since they have that and the ex-life in common.
Trevor McDonald's 2-part documentary about the Mafia has mob rats from all different families coming together for a wedding. I can't remember exactly who was there other than Mikey Scars and Big Anthony Russo - two guys that probably didn't have much interaction while they were both on the streets but presumably came together following both of their defections. I unearthed a photo awhile ago also of Big Anthony Russo, Tommy McLaughlin and Larry Mazza hanging out together.

So yes, there is sort of a "Rat Club." I guess it's nostalgic for these guys to hang out with each other.
Big Anthony Russo lives in Broward I believe they should the outside of his townhome in that Doc. He aint worried about the Colombos coming after him. Its a total joke. Todays mob only cares about rats that could effect them on the street today. No one is killing a rat for a guy doing 20yrs. Guys are more likely to get killed over money on the street then a rat living in Staten Island in the open. Look at the murder of Seccafico. They killed him for skimming money and slapping a wiseguys kid. But they haven't killed on rat living the open. You got PJ living in the open running a gym. They know were he lives , where he works. Countless others.

All things considered Spokane is one of the better cities left in this country. Definitely a much better place to live then most of the east coast cities these guys are from.

What get me is that in Canada the mob was has seen about 100 guys killed in the last 10 years
and only a few arrests. Here in the US, there mob avoids murder. If NYC mobs families committed dozens of murders in the last 10 years, there
would be hardly any mob guys left on the street. A very stark contrast between the two countries.

It's the laws and law enforcement you get in a liberal country like Canada.

that's true about Canadian LE, WG. Also, the NYC families have so
many rats that the Feds usually know what is going down before
it happens.

Canada has much weaker enterprise crime statutes. Plus they have a much greater degree of intact ethnic neighborhoods and recent transplants from Italy. So there is a pool of recruits to fill the ranks from and the bosses are not all in god's waiting room. I also believe that more hits would lead to less convictions and less rats, while not attracting as much law enforcement heat as it would have in the past. Nowadays, the mindset as to rats guarantees that they will be ratted out.

Canada has a liberal government and that has allowed OC to thrive. In Canada you can shoot and kill a guy in an OC hit get 15yrs do 10 and walk out of jail. In the US you get the death penalty or RICO charges that give you 40yrs or life.

You'd love Spokane. There used to be a huge skinhead population there in the 1980s and 90s, not sure about today but I'm sure it still leans that way. Eastern Washington is a much different world from the Seattle area. It's true for Oregon as well as I'm sure you know.

This is a good summation.
Whilst comparatively lower enterprise crime statutes obviously exist in Canada, people downplay the much greater ethnicity of Italian-Canadians. That is to say, Canadian-Italians are more ethnically ‘Italian’ and more recently removed than your typical NYC counterpart.
This plays a huge role in how Canadian Italian OC groups act and behave.

I also agree the NYC LCN has to hit rats. There must be a deterrent to rolling over. Guys will always rat, but the proverbial floodgates can be stemmed, despite the obvious consequences of doing so. My opinion.
Don't give me your f***ing Manson lamps.
