He mispelled the name, I think....

Andy didn't do his homework again. Not only did he fuck up Joe Zerilli's name, but doesn't even have the facts wright. Joe Zerilli didn't do time in that case, it was his son Anthony Zerilli, who was acting boss at the time. This lead to 2 interesting things. First, with Anthony Zerilli in prison, he knows nothing about the particulars of the Hoffa murder. And also it's been written that the Las Vegas case led to him not succeeding his Dad as boss, but Jack Tocco being groomed to take over.

Now he says hes just a Gambino soldier. Still obviously he must have lota prestige to be dealing with who he is.

I don't ever recall Capeci saying that Semplice was anything other than a high-ranking soldier in the family's Zip faction. Certainly not acting boss.

Im very surprised that mannino wasn’t indicted in this case even tho he was implicated on one of the tapes. Only reasonable explanation is that the feds r tryin to build a big rico case against mannino and the zip faction.

This is what was last said about Siemplace which is almost exactly the same :

Thanks for the link SP, it's amazing the reach these guys had at one time and the number of politicians and LE they had on their payroll.

They were an all powerful shadow government,
which is the main & basic reason i am so interested in them.
Most people do not understand or even care about this
fact. NYC & Chicago especially. In Chitown, Pat Marcy
and Fred Roti controlled the 1st Ward judiciary. The Outfity got
away with murder as the Harry Aleman case proved. In NYC,
Frank Costello had undated resignation letters written by all
of the judges he approved to sit on the bench. If the judge
displeased Costello, he would mail the letter to the NY Times.
The judge would find out he resigned when he got his morning
paper.
