You never know. They could have offered to give someone's family money for offing him. The guy had a lot of enemies. Then again, I'm not sure that anyone would have been privy to where he was being moved so it probably rules that out.

Until we know the details there are a lot of possibilities. I'm just suprised someone was willing to kill Bulger in 2018, it certainly was a long time coming.

Just read on Twitter, Whitey was wheeled into a corner where there are no cameras by three people and was beaten with a lock sock and they tried to gouge his eyes out, take that as you want

Bulger was slocked (sock in lock) to death and his eyes gouged out with a shiv, by three inmates while he sat in a wheel chair.

I was told they beat him to death with a slock while in a wheelchair and then gouged his eyes out with a shiv.
