Active Scarfo-Era Guys
Here's a list of the guys made under Scarfo who are still alive, wanting to know who's rumoured to still be active on the streets.
Vincent Centorino, 88
Joseph Grande, 58
Francis Iannarella, 71
Charles Iannece, 83
Joseph Licata, 77
Joseph Ligambi, 79
Nicholas Milano, 57
Frank Narducci Jr, 65
Phillip Narducci, 55
Nicholas Olivieri, 71
Anthony Pungitore Jr, 63
Joseph Pungitore, 62
Salvatore Scafidi, 56
Salvatore Sparacio, 96 (IP)
Ralph Staino, 86
In a recent Mob Talk, Ligambi was described as in ‘consigliere mode’. Whether or not he officially holds the position, it suggests that he is semiretired while remaining somewhat involved in the running of the family. Licata is still the captain of Newark. Phil Narducci and Joey Punge are running their own factions on the street. At various other times I’ve heard that Iannece, Milano, Frank Narducci, Anthony Pungitore and Ralph Staino are rumoured to be inactive. With Frank Narducci having recently been sent back to prison for parole violation I believe and released last year, it would suggest that he is still involved in the life.

Thank you Pogo. Also haven’t read this anywhere posted before, but I am almost certain Tommy DelGiorno died as well a few years back.

Nicky O is Big Lou Fazzini’s mentor and Rabbi in the North Jersey Crew. He’s like a Father figure to Big Lou....
Re: Active Scarfo-Era Guys
For what it's worth, from what I understand Frank and Phil Narducci had a bit of a falling out a couple years back, related to the Baldino kid, not sure if that's still the case now.

Chucky-
Are any of Scarfo era guys in high ranking positions (I'm referring to most of the guys who were locked up for the last 20-25 years)?

Merlino's people still hold the top spots as far as I know, but GA and Mayo Face have said that Phil Narducci and Joe Pungitore are involved at a high level, so there could be something to that.

Re: Active Scarfo-Era Guys
Involved at a high level? Would your guess be that they are advisers of some kind to the boss/ruling panel? I would have a hard time believing that they are willing to take directives from the younger guys, especially after completing decades in the can and honoring their oath.
