For once it has finally happened... An FBI protected informant has actually received the Karma he has had coming for a long long time. Salemme knew the whole time about Bulger and Flemmi, and I'd bet the house he dealt with Agent Rico personally relaying/Receiving info on more than one occasion. You can't make up half of one of the most notorious hit teams to come out of this area, and not question how the other half has such precise information on the vast majority of your targets. Anyways, just my two cents.

Maybe because his son was involved; if Salemme told the truth, the son would have gone to jail.

That's what first comes to mind, but the thing is Junior passed when Sr was on the lame down in Florida. Even if he had involved his kid, he was terminal during most of 95 after the indictments came down Dec 94/Jan 95. There must have been more to it. Maybe life insurance policy payouts though the union and a particluar clause. The weird thing about it is, they all held back on this murder. There is definitely an unknown factor why Salemme, Flemmi, and Deluca wouldn't have been honest during the vetting process with the feds.

The guy who I actually kinda feel for is Weadick. He is just like a few of the guys who TJ and myself know that are getting F-ed with 25 yrs after the fact, when they have gone on to become decent human beings. I don't know this Weadick guy from Adam, so he might be a POS, but it just sucks that on the say so of a guys who were 20x worse on the street, you get sent away for life. I compare it to the #metoo movement, where all of the sudden accusations from decades ago are thrown around and right away are taken as fact, and ruin someone's life. Now, obviously some stories are true, and there should be punishment, but within a blink of an eye, a guy who has a family and might have had some drunken sex in college, is labeled a sexist and blackballed.
