Michael Lancelotti
Anyone got some info on rumored philly street boss Michael Lancelotti? Like when he was made, affiliation, his reputation etc. He’s very low- key and I can’t find much about him.

Re: Michael Lancelotti
Got made in '94 by Merlino along with Steve Mazzone, George Borgesi, Marty Angelina and Vincent Iannece. Served as a capo under acting boss Joe Ligambi. Took a back seat during the first part of the 2010s for health reasons. Allegedly introduced by Joey Merlino as the boss of Philadelphia at a Christmas party in New York in 2015. Earlier that year I think Scott Burnstein reported him as acting as a street boss, passing orders between Mazzone and the capos. If he is indeed Merlino's acting boss it seems he got promoted to the position in 2015 after recovering from his health problems.

Yes, unless Joey retired with his legal problems.slimshady_007 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 04, 2018 8:56 amDoes he still take orders from joey?chin_gigante wrote: ↑Mon Sep 03, 2018 11:50 pm Got made in '94 by Merlino along with Steve Mazzone, George Borgesi, Marty Angelina and Vincent Iannece. He was one of the shooters in the attempted murder of UnderBoss Joey Ciancaglini Jr in 1993. He is also a suspect in the Johnny Gongs Cassasanto hit in 2003.

Pogo any idea who the other shooter was in the Joey c attempt? Or was he the only one? Just to make sure this was the one caught on surveillance that happened in a diner correct?Pogo The Clown wrote: ↑Tue Sep 04, 2018 11:10 am He was one of the shooters in the attempted murder of UnderBoss Joey Ciancaglini Jr in 1993. Re: Michael Lancelotti
The Joey Chang attempted hit was the one captured on tape at the diner. I believe Johnny Gongs' killers were captured on tape entering his house by neighbours' cctv but the image quality was too low to identify anyone. Correct me if I'm wrong, I'm not sure on that last bit.MichaelGiovanni wrote: ↑Tue Sep 04, 2018 10:44 pmPogo any idea who the other shooter was in the Joey c attempt? Or was he the only one? Re: Michael Lancelotti
Correct on both counts. Lancelotti was one of the gunmen in the Ciancaglini hit. The other two were Tommy Scafidi and Steve Mazzone (or was it Marty Angelina?). For the Johnny Gongs hit the camera cought 3 guys entering the house. Lancelotti, Anthony Nicodemo, Mikey Virgilio and Vince Filipelli have all been suspected in taking part in it with Nicodemo being a prime suspect.

Re: Michael Lancelotti
I highly doubt Filipelli was part of the crew that took out Gongs.

Re: Michael Lancelotti
I believe all the Philly guys think that Filipelli is a complete muscle bound idiot. Ligambi I feel only let him back into the fold to kick up from his sportsbook and loanshark books to Staino. “Make money, don’t make headlines”
Re: Michael Lancelotti
Placing Big Vince with Staino allowed them to keep am eye on him and allowed him to earn through collections.
