B is 100% right, my bad on the Providence thing. But both Vito Sr. and Jr., as well as Anthony ‘Skinny’ Santoro have ties to Providence.
I have it down in my notes that Vito Badamo Sr.’s father was connected as well, don’t know where I got that from. I’ll recheck when I get home.

Not positive on the Williamsburg roots, actually, but definitely Brooklyn. I found some marital connections between the Brooklyn Badamos from Castellammare Del Golfo and some Bonventres. Not positive these ones were related to the ones who would later join the Bonanno family but I believe Vito Badamo Sr. associated with the Middle Village crew which had a large number of Castellammarese.B. wrote: ↑Sat Aug 11, 2018 9:26 pmThe father has ties to both Rhode Island and Pennsylvania, but I believe he is originally from Williamsburg. From research a while back it looks like Vito Badamo Sr.'s father was named Vito Badamo as well and came to NYC from Castellammare del Golfo. Wouldn't surprise me if their roots go back to the early Castellammarese colony in Williamsburg.newera_212 wrote: ↑Sat Aug 11, 2018 11:35 amthanks for the info. they both moved from Rhode Island together, as adults, to Brooklyn and got involved with the Bonnanos? thats kinda weird lolgohnjotti wrote: ↑Fri Aug 10, 2018 1:29 amThe Vito Badamo mentioned in 2002 is the father of acting capo Vito Badamo (Jr.) The pair both originally hailed from Providence, R.I. In the 1990s both father and son were spotted at the Grand Avenue Social Club with a lot of other mobsters from various crews.newera_212 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 10, 2018 12:45 am is the age a little off for the guy Vito Badamo mentioned? a few years ago a Williamsburg / Greenpoint guy with the same name got busted in that Nicky Santora crew bust; he was under Santora and was allegedly being "groomed" to take over the crew, according to a daily news article quoting a wiretap. he looked in his 50s at the oldest around the time of the bust.
the one mentioned on the list above...maybe the father, or uncle, of the guy im talking about?
regardless of age im gonna take a guess that in 2002 the Badamo mentioned, and Nicky Santora, belonged to the same crew. Dunno what Rabito's position was in 02 but they're all from the same area; if Rabito was on the street and running a crew in 2002 id bet both Santora and Badamo were in it.
its also kind of shocking Santora wasnt a Capo by 2002

Those Gennas were old-time Mafia guys that Capone went to war with over the city. Not sure if there is a connection here or not.willychichi wrote: ↑Thu Aug 16, 2018 8:15 amCC did the James "Jim" Genna you are looking for start out in Chicago or is that a different Genna?Chris Christie wrote: ↑Wed Aug 15, 2018 8:11 pm Photos needed:

Charles Musillo may have been with Patrick DeFilippo. Genna died in 1997. Small adjustment, but it appears that John 'Johnny Girone' Caltagirone didn't die until 2016. The John Caltagirone who died in June 2002 lived in Virginia.
Bari Mascitti, John Mirabile, and Generoso 'Jimmy General' Barbieri were all former Tartaglione crew members
