Well..George did a lot of time..and definitely don’t want to go back..he’s not an overly social guy, so running around sipping espressos certainly not his thing..that being said, like anyone, he is not getting any younger, and wants to earn money to put himself in good position. Embarrassing to admit, but years ago when I did more social media sleuthing I saw that Shawn Vetere was "friends" with Borgesi's wife on Facebook. This was when Borgesi was still in prison. Better get that indictment ready because I've got a hot investigation brewing.

Seriously, though, we do know from Monacello that she was picking up money for him while he was away and it shows there was at least a relationship to someone from New England, especially interesting because this is a different wife than Borgesi had when he was active on the street when the New England guys were recruited.

I actually dont mind scotts witing, he definetly has some sources..but i do think at times he takes one source with no back up..hey, it makes great hesdlines..but , for jnstance that story, u guys can believe whatever u like, im just a guy on the internet..but im telling vetere was never jn a uniom, teamsters or otherwise, was never on a movie set, and never was a body guard, anywhere, ever..and i am pretty sure george and matty were never in the same facility, and if they were it wasnt for an extended time..again, not a big deal either way, but it negates some of what i can believe when i know that thoae 2 instances are not accurate..i dint think scott made it up..i dont even think his sources duped him..i think its mistaken, and some of it confusion on the sources part...the westerly thing, while accurate geographically, is emballished by saying ant and or the salvos go up as emissaries, again probably his source embellishing not him..so, while some of u took what i said as an assault in scott, i wanted to clarify not the case..u wont see me commenting on any topic, scott or otherwise unless.its in the realm of what i may know

Whilst he likely doesn't fabricate, his errors, non confirmation and general outright 'speculation' (refer example of Merlino giving the DePietro order) are so egregious and common that his trust-worthyness for 'journalism' is rendered almost completely useless.
The instances and examples are so numerous as to leave his work in the realm of simple speculation which is more oft than not proven false.
We read him because of his rarity in the field, not his quality or history of work.
