To get outside, eat good, and get laxed accommodations. That's my best guess.

Sorry I got cut off and didn't finish posting everything. Going to do that now. This will be my last update as I'm out of town all next week and won't be able to do it.

They'll NEVER release him. He might have a shot like say Sonny Franzese in 10 years or so if he makes it but they'll make damn sure he isn't a threat before he is "free" again.

I agree on Underboss, SKIP the parts about the FBI folks. It's kind of long and very boring. Other than that it's a good book, especially when talking about their efforts on trying and even getting busted by Angiulo when hiding cameras in or near Prince St.

The rest of Karen Anderson on Flemmi's testimony Friday:

Transitioning now to the Channel night club. Flemmi’s nephew and son worked there. Boozang: “Part of the deal was if you helped get the license, you’d get a piece of the profits from the club, correct?” Flemmi: “That’s correct.”

Flemmi says he warned his son Billy Hussey to stay away from the Channel “I told him to avoid the place” because he heard things would be going down there. “I knew the grand jury was sitting that time” bc his nephew was called in.

Flemmi says he saw Frank Salemme & Steve DiSarro together about 3-4 times, always at the Channel. Flemmi says he first met DiSarro through Frank Salemme Jr at Guzzi’s in early 90s. “I understood it was Franks Jr’s Club... and Frank Srs Club.” We helped them get the license.

Flemmi says Salemme was concerned about DiSarro: “They had their problems, because the way... Frank explained it he was concerned about his welfare and getting indicted.” Boozang: “Concerned about what?” Flemmi: “Whatever criminal activity they were involved in.”

Flemmi: “Obviously he (Salemme) was concerned because he wanted to kill him (DiSarro) and he did” Boozang asks again what Salemme could have been concerned about? Flemmi: “Maybe because Frank told me he was shaking them down for 5,000 a month.”

Flemmi says in exchange for getting the Channel its strip club license, he was promised a percentage of the club. He says he doesn’t know what other business went on. “All I know is Frank was shaking him down for 5000 a month and he was silent partners in the business.”

“He said he was concerned about Steve DiSarro.” Flemmi says Salemme was concerned about an IRS agent and Department of Transportation worker who were at the club. “He suspected they were talking to Steve DiSarro.”

Boozang trying to raise doubts about what could have caused Salmme to want to kill Steve DiSarro - repeatedly asks Flemmi what it could have been. Flemmi responds he doesn’t know any specifics. “That he would disclose whatever information he had about Frank Salemme.”

Boozang states Flemmi was first denied seeing the murder of Steve DiSarro. “I was concerned about my welfare,” Flemmi says. “I didn’t want to say that I saw anything. I just kept going.” He says his attorney stopped him and told him to tell the investigators what he saw.

Flemmi says the reason he went by 14 Marie Ave in Sharon while DiSarro was being strangled was because he got a message the Salemme wanted to speak with him 2 days before. He said he was at his wife’s house and “I just decided to drive by. I thought I might find him home.”

Boozang: “You had many girlfriends at the time? Flemmi: “Alot of girlfriends.” Boozang: You impregnated a teenage girl and she had your baby. She was 18 years old and Flemmi says he was about 60.

Flemmi is asked if all his girlfriends would have allowed him to go to his ex-wife’s house (where he says he was the day of the DiSarro murder.) ”I had a relationship and I could do whatever I wanted to” He says he had a crash pad in Quincy and also stayed at his mother’s.

Boozang attempting to raise questions about Flemmi’s story he was at his ex-wife’s house in Norwood the day of the DiSarro murder and happened to stop by Salemme’s ex-wife’s in Sharon. Flemmi says he was going back and forth helping his ex-wife with a renovation

Boozang says he could have easily found Frank at the Busy Bee. Flemmi states “I went by the house because he was looking fo me. I happened to be in Norwood at the time.” Flemmi says he drove by the house because thought he might find Salemme there. “And I did.”

Boozang trying to create doubts about Flemmi’s testimony he stopped by house as DiSarro was being murdered. Boozang says Flemmi knew Salemme was upset with DiSarro: “Why didn’t you just take off?” Flemmi: “I didn’t think his son was going to be involved in the murder”

Flemmi says he saw Frank Jr strangling DiSarro. “Paul Weadick was holding his legs. Frank was to the immediate left of the door.” Flemmi says he think’s he saw Salemme’s brother Jackie.

Boozang asks why he isn’t sure if he saw Jackie - since he’d known him for years. Flemmi: “This is instant. I saw what I saw, that was my main concern. I turned around, I said to Frank ‘I’m leaving’ and I left the area.”

Flemmi says he was aware of surveillance on Salemme: “The state police was all over the place. My immediate concern after witnessing a murder was leaving the area as soon as possible.”

Flemmi says he met Frank at 8 pm that night. “Frank told me after it happened. He told me Jackie Salemme wrapped up the body, put it in the truck of Frank’s car. He followed Frank. Frank took the back roads to a construction site in RI.” “There’s always a backup car.”

Boozang asks about Flemmi’s determination to flee after DiSarro’s murder compared to other murders. “We were always concerned about everything.” “Everything’s a different situation for a different murder. We were concerned all the time.”

Flemmi says he knew Salemme’s parents: “Nice people.” Now Boozang is showing Flemmi a picture of Flemmi with Frank’s family. Boozang says it was from Mother’s Day at the Venezia on May 9, 1993. Flemmi says he was not there that day. “This is just a photo of us there.”

Flemmi has said he got a message Frank wanted to see him on May 8th, he was busy doing real estate work on May 9th, so drove by looking for him on May 10th - and walked in on the murder. Boozang claims photo shows Flemmi was with Salemme’s family May 9th - Flemmi denies it.

Salemme has been mostly watching his lawyer, Steve Boozang, with his hands folded in front of him, during the cross examination. From his seat he can’t see Flemmi’s face.

Boozang: Sir you don’t want to spend the rest of your life in jail correct? Flemmi: I made a deal with the government They promised me nothing except my plea agreement That’s the fact of the matter. No one’s promised me anything.

Boozang: You’re not expecting anything in return (for your testimony) Flemmi: I have a plea agreement with the government It stipulates any questions asked of me...I answer the question. They never told me they were going to do anything for me.

Boozang: “You’re hoping to leave prison before you die, correct?” Flemmi: “Where there’s life, there hope right? Anything can happen in this world.”

Boozang states to Flemmi that he’s lied and decieved people he’s cared about his entire life. Flemmi responded: “A lot of people benefited, a lot of people didn’t go to jail on account of me....including Frank.”

Boozang: Alot of people got killed as a result of the information you received from the federal government. Flemmi: That was a matter that involved other people as a group. Boozang: You were a part of that group. Flemmi: You are in for a penny, you’re in for a pound.

Boozang: You never told Frank you were an informant. Flemmi: Frank benefited from my information. He’s not stupid.

Boozang says Weeks was upset that Flemmi had killed women. Flemmi says he was upset Bulger made Weeks part of their group. Flemmi: “Bulger introduced him to the lifestyle. He made a murderer out of the guy.” Flemmi also stated: “That was a stupid move on Bulger’s part.”
---------------------

And that was it after some testy exchanges between lawyers. Resumes Monday with Weadick's lawyer crossing Flemmi.

dixie?
Underboss goes over the Angiulo brothers until their fall in the 80's as well as Larry Zannino's fall. That's about it, not sure if Black Mass covers any or not as I've never read it. I wished there was more and there might be, but I don't know.
thanks Dix. hope all is well.
there's the Mark Silverman book and here another one recently came out about a "street boss" i forgot title. Marked Card is a title I believe

Anything by Silverman is total fiction...Dixie great post again..can the lawyer plant this seed deep into juries mind that flemmi is lying, that he didn’t see it? If so, weadick walks, and it’s all abou deluca s feel with the jury...flemmi being wish wash on Jackie being these is strange, and I’m shocked the lawyer hasn’t asked salemme ‘ u walk into a murder, and these killers just let u walkIN and walk OUT? ‘..I don’t know, to me, just a fucked up scene

Carr: Mobster claims ties to 50 slayings

Imprisoned Boston mobster Stevie Flemmi admitted yesterday to participating in “probably about 50” murders during the course of his 40 years in organized crime. Testifying at the murder trial of his old partner, “Cadillac” Frank Salemme, “The Rifleman” was asked by defense lawyer Steve Boozang how many. “More than 50,” Boozang asked, “or less than 50?” Flemmi, who turns 84 today, paused.

lol maybe before his testimony! he really showed a pathetic animal side.... and it seems like he has no remorse at all.

what other big trials did he testify in??
bulger trial I'm sure... but other then him i dont know of many "big " targets he got.... Patriarca Jnr??

it's interesting when It said when he was outed as a informant that he still ate lunch next to the gang.... had to be uncomfortable...

I suspect has an agreement from these prosecutors or is just hoping that they will comment on his continued cooperation when he makes another motion for sentence reconsideration. He's got nothing to lose and everything to gain. He probably wants a conviction worse than the prosecutors.
