Wiseguy, I don't know if this was a pipe dream or what, but I vaguely remember mention on the forums that the Genovese, I think it was, had a member in New Britain, CT. Does that ring any bell?

Not specifically but it wouldn't surprise me. While I don't recall off the top of my head the Genovese family having a crew based in Connecticut like the Gambinos (someone will have to correct me if I'm totally spacing it), they always had guys from New York and Springfield crews active there.

The list looks pretty accurate and comprehensive. I don't John Vitello was made. If I rememeber right he was indicted as an Associate some years back. I don't believe Mario Grasso was made either but I could be wrong on that.

Source is NARA Records.

Date of arrival is unknown, but settled in Ansonia, Connecticut. Listed on 1930 Census as a Plasterer. Possibly joined Family in 1940’s, as they expanded into new territory. Reported to first Domenico, then Joseph Arcuri as his Capo. Closely associated with Nick Patti and Frank Piccolo. Died in 1962. Son Angelo junior was a possible later member.
