Couple of questions to the board:
Will he get any reduction for house arrest, bail restrictions whilst on trial?
If he gets 2yrs, what’s he likely to serve, with good behaviour etc?
Is there expected to be a parole period post his sentence or a ‘do not associate’ whatever for any length of time?
Cheers.

Prisoners serving sentences of more than a year but less than life can earn up to 54 days per year off their sentences for good behavior. (18 U.S.C. § 3624(b).)SonnyBlackstein wrote: ↑Fri Apr 27, 2018 8:24 amCouple of questions to the board:

I dont see him getting sentenced to the two full years. using the phone to place a bet is a very minor crime. Id be shockedSonnyBlackstein wrote: ↑Fri Apr 27, 2018 8:24 amCouple of questions to the board:

Appreciated Stroccos and Fugh.
@Cheech: will the sentencing judge be the same as the trial judge? If so theyll obv know who he is and what he’s actually done and hit him as hard as possible.

Ok if you think so. prosecutors arent even recommending that. recommending 10-16 mos. Ultimately up to the judge but would be shocked if he gets 2 years for placing a bet on the phone.JeremyTheJew wrote: ↑Fri Apr 27, 2018 11:06 amYesSonnyBlackstein wrote: ↑Fri Apr 27, 2018 11:03 am Appreciated Stroccos and Fugh.

Re: Merlino Trial thread
I dont see this judge banging him with 2 years....its not that strange. the charge is making a bet on the phone. 5 people I am in the office right now with have already done that today. if the judge was gonna be a hard ass dont see him removing bail restrictionsslimshady_007 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 27, 2018 11:40 amThat’s strange.
