The million dollar question:

Will Baby Shacks also get indicted for allegedly orchestrating the murder? According to DeLuca, Luigi Manocchhio played a key role in the murder of Kevin Hanrahan...why no indictment?

Would they go after Manocchio since he is 90 years old?

Yes they would go after him as he was in his late 70's or early 80's in his last case.

I have to wonder too why he wasn't indicted? I don't think there is any way he turned rat as he is old school, but maybe they don't fully trust DeLuca? It is a fact he failed to mention this so maybe they don't think he's a strong enough witness to go after Baby Shacks?
If I didn't have my case coming up, I would like to come back with you gentlemen when this is over with and really lay the law down what is going on in this country.....

They will need more than just his word to go after someone on a murder rap. Another credible witness, physical evidence, something along those lines.

Mentally, if he is still with it and I have no reason to believe that he has declined mentally, of course. Especially with court documents naming him as the orchestrator. Salemme is going to be 85. The FBI in New England has had its issues to say the least, the new administration is still looking to get even with these guys.

Credibility of DeLuca can be destroyed by a skilled, crafty trial lawyer. It’s the same reason the FBI did not indict Mike Genovese in Pittsburgh after Chucky Porter began to cooperate, Porter perjured himself on the stand hundreds of times and after 2 years in federal prison, he decided to feed the government info. The SA in charge said it was a shaky case at best and a defense lawyer easily could have created reasonable doubt.

Salemme never tried to protect DeLuca. Cadillac Frank never told the Feds because he himself and his son was involved in the DiSarro hit (his son supposedly strangled him while Frank held his legs). Now that his son is dead I'm surprised CF didn't just say his son killed him.

But you're mistaken if you think Cadillac Frank was trying to protect anyone on Federal Hill. He was out for himself and himself only.

I agree JCB, maybe that is why they didn't indict Baby Shacks. A good lawyer (like you said) would eat DeLuca's credibility up.

your mistaken if you think he protected his son , his son was dead long before he ratted..he protected himself, thats for sure, but his son was dead before he ratted..and he left deluca out of the story..then deluca ratted on him..frank was trying to play half pregnant, only rat on the people that ratted on him and all that bullshit..so he left out the delucas role in the killing, as well as the killing itself cuz it would implicate him, and others..but his son was long gone before he flipped

but, in essence, my post did say he lied to protect deluca, so you are right to correct me, he didnt like to protect deluca, he did it for himself, and deluca was a benefactor..then deluca stuffs it up his ass, like most lying rats do

A drunk defense attorney could create reasonable doubt on DeLuca. He had a free pass and LIED. His word is shit but I still believe Frank will be found guilty.
