- Ceremony conducted at night in back of bar. Business not closed and other patrons were present at location. In an attempt to deflect suspicion, food was laid out and "Happy Birthday" was played on the jukebox to make it appear the group was assembled for a party.

Jeez, it sure is sad how far the mafia has fallen in the 21st century, conducting a verbal-only making ceremony openly in front of random bar-goers. Oh wait... that was in 1977. I guess we can't use that Canadian ceremony to fuel bullshit narratives about "today's mafia".

The large Halloween ceremony sounds less crazy now that we know the ceremony was just an oath. Interesting that some of the guys were surveilled entering the apartment. If the surveillance team had known it was a making ceremony going on inside, that would have been a major feat for law enforcement, as the entire administration was there.

I guess every family does things differently. We know the Colombos, even today, still use guns in their ceremony and probably the other physical props too.

Barely over a year after the books were opened and you had all three Indelicatos inducted, two of them captains by the end of the decade. It's confusing why Bruno was promoted to captain after the Galante hit. A reward for a job well done, but surprising they would put a young guy with an extremely violent reputation known for his cocaine abuse in charge of a large crew when his father had his own powerful crew already. Between that and Trinchera's promotion (Indelicato soldier), they were basically trying to create a rival faction in the family.

He shows up on the member lucchese list, brooklyn crew by 1983. Killed in 1987 with an Frank Santoro. Carmine was born 1957 so he's kind of young and he's no Bellomo or some other big shot.

Mike Palmaccio was made before the 2013-2015 timeframe. He was indicted as a soldier in 2011.

Mike Mancuso was made in the 1996-1999 time period. Released from prison in '96 after doing time for manslaughter, and was probably a soldier by the time he was involved in the Sciascia hit.
