Don't get me wrong he is a great storyteller. But I go by facts. There are zero in all his stories. It's hearsay. He says he won't name his relatives due to privacy. Every mob guy he names is one of the most famous ones from books. The info about where they did time is common knowledge. A Google search away. I want Lucas stories to be true but it's just not adding up. I hope I'm wrong but the guy seems to be a fake. That's just my opinion.
Yates,
I sent some paperwork about my uncle's appeal for his conviction back in late 80's to a member. He said he was going to look onto it. It was the only thing I could find that would give actual dates when he was inside. He said he would lget back to me. Take care,
Luca
Conviction in the late 80s. Okay so which uncle is this and who did he do time with?
So this is my uncle Joe. Was convicted back in '87-'88 when he was 25 or so. Was known in my area as a wildcard, but very close with Vinny Ferrera, even to this day. Got called in to town many a times for doing jobs on guys that ended up being with someone. That's actually how he ended up being close with the Italians, when he was from the opposite side of town. He was in with Persico Sr., Scarpa Jr, Gotti Sr, Vic Amuso, Orena Sr, Scarfo Sr., Barney Bellomo, He became extremely close with Joey Merlino, they actually formed a company together when they got out. Joey got out a year after my uncle. Take care,

Luca
With 7 bosses with from 5 different crime families? He seems like a mover. Thanks Luca.

Lupara wrote: Thu Mar 22, 2018 11:08 pm I don't get all the fuss about this guy's stories. They're fun to read and don't hurt anyone. Let him have his thread instead of scaring people off. Have some faith in the mods being the guardians of righteousness.

Not sure whether anyone noticed but activity on the forum reached a lowpoint these last few months. Only recently it has gone up a bit again, probably thanks to the DiLeonardo interview but some random stories may help some people gain interest too. Why not have a general stories thread so guys could post their stuff there for anyone who's interested and for the ones who aren't to ignore?
“They’re fun to read and don’t hurt anyone?”
Well let’s just get Giacomo Vacari back on board and give him the mike.

This forum, is quality. It’s not measured in standard by activity. This isn’t a place where more posts = better forum.
So if Luca’s stories ‘sell more papers’ then why not let him have the soapbox? That’s the argument?

See here’s my argument: quality is what we’ve worked for. Trust is something you earn. And a quality forum is based on research and vetting the shit out of anyone who professes to ‘have an ear to the ground’.

And apologetics for a guy who’s selling Henry Hill getting fucked in the ass stories because ‘it’s good for activity’ or it does no harm..
Hey, if we can’t criticize this guy. Then I truly am at a loss as to what separates us from BB.
A summary of my thoughts. I should have spoken them as eloquently but all I have is a mind in the gutter and garbage grammar. Plus I'm an alcoholic 5 hours a day when I'm not working or sleeping. Sonny knows the score. Quality. No BB. Hold people accountable. Not saying anybody is lying but always be skeptical UNTIL they prove themselves. Cream will always rise to the top.

As Bronx posted earlier, sounds like Luca's relatives were Irish and from South Boston. Luca said he has TWO relatives that did time, One was his Grandfather and the other was his Uncle. He never said his Grandfather and Uncle were Italian or from the North End. In fact, he said they were from the Opposite side of town. Opposite of North End is South End. He said his Uncle spent about 23 years in Prison. Who knows? Could meet alot of people in 23 years. lol

Four bosses and an UB.
Your uncle must have been made I assume to associate with bosses and under bosses?
And from your conversations with TJ I assume your family (and your uncle) are from Boston? So your uncle was a made guy with the NE family?
7 bosses. Persico, Gotti, amuso, merlino, bellomo, orena, and scarfo. Don't short change him.

Persico and orena we're Colombo bosses, scarfo and merlino were Philly. That's 4. Amuso was a lucchese boss. Gotti a Gambino boss and bellomo a Genovese. Helluva story. Throw Henry hill in the 70s, left Ruggiero in the 80s and Jr gotti in the 2000s and we have a Pulitzer over here.

No Sonny he was Irish from Charlestown. The reason he was able to associate with these men was his reputation inside and his paperwork. He took 30 yrs on the chin in his mid 20's. Never said a word about his crew. Inside he had a little problem when it came to being a security risk. Was transferred 20 times or so. Was trusted by some serious men. As I have mentioned to a few guys, I didn't get to know him really until he got out in 2010 or ao. Now he's back in. We shall see what the future holds. Take care,

Sorry guys lets clarify some things.. And I am not posting this pissed or angry just getting some stuff straighy... My uncle is from Charlestown, My grandmother's ( full blooded Irish/English) nephew.. My grandfather is from Somerville. My GF worked for Buddy Mclean and then Howie directly under Sal Sperlinga. He is full blooded Sicilian. Off the boat. He was under Sal Sperlinga along with my old man for years in and around Somerville, prior to Sal getting killed in 79-80. Did about 5 yrs for extortion in the 70's. After Sal was killed kinda fizzeled out from the life and became a citizen. I should have said other side of the bridge. I apologize, i have never once claimed anything about North End or Southie in any of my posts. Only that my relatives included myself have dealt with different crews based out of that area. Actually admittes I knew nothing about the doings of whoever is active in that area, South of the city. Take care,

I’ve never been in the Fed system, but from guys I know who have, and geographically speaking, the northeast facilities do hold the greater number of OC figures.

You’ll see guys like Junior and Little Allie Boy Persico, Jackie DeRoss, Basciano, Scarfo, who’s notieriety is shown by them being shipped out to Lompoc, Coleman High in Florida, Colorado Super Max, Atlanta, etc...

Im not sure though if the mob guys would be actual cellies, but when they can congregate in their area, they will for sure. You stay with your own kind man. Safety in numbers.

Is it true that you can request your cellies? And if you don't you're assigned one? Heard this on the Ear Hustle podcast made with a guy serving 20-to-life but he was serving a state sentence so it might be different.

Unless that’s something new, Gohn, choosing your cell mate in state or federal jurisdictions is not a viable option.
