So some might know this but I would like to tell a story about Gotti that my uncle told me when he himself got out in 2011....

So my Uncle takes 30 yrs on the chin back in 1986 or so at the age of 24 for being part of a Bank and armored car crew that did jobs from Boston all the way out to Chicago. He does his first few years at Lewisburg but is sent to Marion after an attempted murder charge while in custody. So we are from Boston and we have one of the best reps in the feds, due to the fact that the majority of the guys don't join gangs and when shit pops off almost all (Black,White,Spanish) stick together. Anyways, he ends up having the cell\shithole directly next to Gotti for over 3 years. Well, one day a wiseguy from Chicago gets caught in the shower by a few Aryan brotherhood members and they know he has a shit ton of cash. So they hand him a list of a hundred or so members and tell him he is going to send $1k to each of these people or they are going to kill him. So John Sr hears word of this and tells my uncle that he has to stand up for this guy, because he is a wiseguy (Italian) and kept his mouth shut, etc. Well, my uncle talks with a Lt. in the AB and he says that word was sent from Barry Mills to stay out of it. He tells him that this isn't the street, this is prison politics and things might be different on the outside. Well John Sr gets this message from my uncle and still keeps on and on about helping this guy from Chicago out. So Barry Mills sends word through my uncle that if John Sr wants to keep it up and put his own neck out there, then fine how about YOU GIVE US $250K OR WE ARE GOING TO KILL YOU! Well lets just say it was paid one way or another.


The reason I tell this is because the popular myth is that Gotti paid the AB to kill that black inmate because he got tuned up. Well this is the truth that some might know but some might not.

Very cool story, I thought Cosa Nostra is respect and dreaded same for prison gangs, and is very different see prison gangs like AB, for what i know represent tiny percentage of prison, extorting a wiseguy and Gotti have no power to stop it.

I read an article on the racial war in prison that say that even if the aryan brotherhood was a minority in a prison,they are seen as leading gang for the white inmates.

In east coast prisons in some way yes but in the west coast expecially california they must pay for protection;even Scarfo with his enourmous ego must pay the mexican mafia in La Tuna and had 2 pistoleros that protected him for the 2 y which stay in the prison.

There was quite a few Outfit members inprisoned at that time. I wonder if there was any other Chicago guys that did time with Gotti. It should be easy to narrow it down to a few. Maybe DiFronzo is the guy. It isn't clear if it was Gotti or the Chicago guy or both that paid.

In Marion or Florence everyone is in solitary so that's bullshit that the AB circled this guy from Chicago in the showers. Gotti was a man's man but it did him no good in the end.
