I was bored and flipping through the old FBN mafia book and saw the page for Vincent “Jimmy the Blond” Corrao which identified his wife as Jennie Periver and his sons as Augustus Vincent and Joseph Vincent. It made me wonder if Joe Butch May have not been Italian on both sides (or at least not fully Italian extraction on both sides), as Periver doesn’t seem to be an Italian surname.

The Mafia book has a few errors in it, and this is one. Jennie Corrao was born Giovanna Perino to Giuseppe and Catherine Perino (or some variation) in New York in 1909.
