The most screwed up LCN indicments

2 come to mind that are somewhat recent and local to the NY NJ area.

1- The Gatto Indictment Where competing LE agencies outed an Informant and ended in his murder(Frank Langano-Unsolved) and led to temporarily dropping of all charges against the defendants. Gatto went on to die before he could be re-charged with RICO.

2- The Dec.2007 NJ Luchese Crew indictments. Several defendants have died. And 8yrs later the case still hasn't been brought to trial... 8 yrs !
