if he walk they will just keep going after him till they get him like Gotti. and jr Gotti's strategy wont work for him because guys that have left the mob aren't seen recently in nyc hanging with the westside talking about killing guys...
Well in Merlino case it’s quite obv he’s guilty and he never left the mob
Gotti on the other hand was not on tape and actually did quit
Correct-a-mondo.. I think a NY jury might convict Merlino. I think he is dumb to go to trial. But hey he like the attention.
Bingo Rocco! He’s in love with himself. A fucking disgrace to old school LCN. This guy is a fucking asshole, I hope the Feds get this douchebag off the streets and he gets a long prison sentence that is “for good.” Either way, his life is shit.
I agree. He should get 20yrs just for driving around in a White Rolls without a legit source of income. Shit for Brains. Best he could come up with is working as a Hostess in a restaurant. Open a fucking business with your money. And he is upset he got arrested. So stressed hes got heart problems. What did he think LE was going to do ? Buy him and ice cream cone and say have a nice day Joey ? Some guys have it...some guys just don't...
How the hell do you know he has no legit forms of income? Have you seen his financials? He isn't being charged with tax evasionin and Merlino clearly has plenty of legitimately wealthy people around him.

In August, Don Michael Petullo, a former Las Vegas businessman who worked in the casino industry, registered a company, DNS Inc., at Merlino’s Boca Raton address.

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.bizjou ... n.amp.html

Wether he's driving a Rolls Royce or Toyota Corrola the Feds are going to after him regardless.
He doesn't just the restaurant. Which is now gone. If he had a business in his name it would be all over the place and the news. Merlino prob hasn't filed a tax return since 1986...
What makes you say that? How many mob guys have there businesses info "all over the place and news"?
If Joey Merlino had a legit business he would want it in the news. He would want everyone to know he is legit. He likes the attention. Why do you think that restaurant was called Merlino's ? Also you want your legit business known. Its your front. Its a must. What don't you get about this here?
That's all an assumption on your part. Just because Merlino likes attention doesn't automatically mean he would make all his business public.
On flip side all of your arguments are an assumption are your part. You do not know Merlino nor does anyone on the forum. Reality check. This entire forum is new articles and assumptions on everyones part..... So what the fuck is your point ? lol
I posted a link showing that he had at least one business (aside from the restaurant). As in actual PROOF. You're talking like you know what the man thinks by saying if he had any legit business he'd want everyone to know about it and it would be all over he internet. THAT'S the baseless claim on your part. You stated it as a fact, not speculation.
You sound like a Joey Merlino fanboy? I am pretty sure everyone on this forum knows w/ 100% certainty that I don't personally know Joey Merlino.,,that I can state as a fact. lmao ! Also he was not an owner of that restaurant. He could not be because he was a felon. He was an employee who would seat you and smile for your pics. Merlino doesn't have a thriving legit business to support his lifestyle. that is why nothing is in his name. House is leased none of the cars in his name. etc. If he had a thriving business the feds cant tie to organized crime that supported his life style he he would be a smart guy.
Smart guys avoid him like the plague. He is worried about rats? He is a walking indictment. Feds have probably sent a dozen rats to him before he took the bait.
You and I just view it differently. laying low making money is lcn. the shit Merlino and Gotti did/do is just hollywoods version of a showboat gangster.

So far, good roll of the dice for Merlino. Looks like the Jew Lawyer made a laughing stock out of Rubeo. LOL

ohhhhhh that makes complete sense. good one.

that got me thinking.... there was a restaurant i worked at called Uptown Eatery that was north of detroit in a metro detroit suburb.... anyways, the owner was a ex YBI (young boys inc) associate who use to talk to me ahout how he got straight, etc. im wondering if he really was the owner now.

his wife was around the place too... would it be okay for HER to get the license?

i wonder if u can co own a place and the co owner gets granted the license, such as above? doubt it tho...
