Chinese Mafia bust in Italy

To Everyone: I read I believe 3 days ago about a bust in Italy in which a "Chinese Mafia organization" was taken down. There were a number of articles on the web that day, the best of which was an article (I believe) January 18 in the on-line site of the New York Times. Now, the articles SPECIFICALLY stated a "Chinese Mafia organization" with international links. I am making the assumption that this HAD to be a Triad organization, or Triad-related. Yet, there was absolutely no mention of any Triad links in the articles! I am somewhat surprised and baffled by the absence of a Triad link, again, because there was no doubt from reading the articles that it was termed a "Chinese Mafia organization."

Can anyone on this Forum lend any additional information to what the organization was, any other details, and any specific Triad links???

according to italian police it is not triad-related, it was a gang from zhejiang

i read it in the newspapers
anyway, are there triads in the zhejiang regione? i thought they were only in hong kong, macao, guandong and taiwan
